AURORA REFLECTIONS – WHAT ARE YOU READY TO LET RIPEN?

Have you noticed the subtle change happening in nature?

The grasses are becoming golden, seed heads are swaying in the evening light and berries are slowly ripening along the hedgerows.

Nature isn't rushing.

And perhaps there is a lesson there for us.

We live in a world that constantly encourages us to hurry.

To decide, to achieve, to know what comes next.

But nature does not pull the fruit from the branch before it is ready.

Some things need sunshine. ☀️
Some need rain. 🌧️
Some need nourishment. 🌿
And some simply need time.

Perhaps there is something within YOU that is ripening too.

💛 GOLD – recognising the wisdom you have already gained.

🫒 OLIVE – standing at the threshold between what has been and what is becoming.

💚 GREEN – allowing your heart to choose its own direction.

💗 MAGENTA – trusting the deeper soul process, even when you cannot yet see where it is leading.

✨ WHAT DOES FREEDOM MEAN TO YOU? ✨

Is it space to breathe?

Choosing your own direction?

Returning to the simple things?

No longer needing everyone to understand you?

Or perhaps freedom is finally giving yourself permission…

to become who you already are.

Watch a bird soaring on the thermals.

There is no struggle.

Its wings are open and, for a while, it simply allows the air to carry it.

Perhaps we don’t always need to push harder, achieve more or have everything figured out.

Perhaps sometimes freedom begins when we stop fighting against ourselves.

When we stop asking for permission.

When we stop trying to fit into the version of ourselves that other people expect to see.

And simply…

spread our wings.

Today, ask yourself:

✨ Where do I feel most free?

✨ What am I ready to release?

✨ If nobody else’s opinion mattered, what would I choose?

Listen to the answer that comes quietly.

Your soul may have been trying to tell you for a very long time. 💜

✨ AURORA REFLECTIONS ✨

What does freedom mean to you?

We often think of freedom as something outside of ourselves.

Having more time.
Fewer responsibilities.
Being able to go wherever we choose.
Having nobody telling us what we should or shouldn't do.

But perhaps some of the greatest freedoms are the ones nobody else can see.

The freedom to say no without explaining yourself.

The freedom to change your mind.

The freedom to stop needing everyone to understand you.

The freedom to outgrow the person you once believed you had to be.

The freedom to rest without feeling guilty.

The freedom to choose your own direction.

The freedom to return to the simple things.

And perhaps...

The freedom to simply be "you".

There is something beautiful about watching a bird soaring high above the landscape. It isn't fighting the sky and it isn't frantically beating its wings trying to stay there - it just spreads its wings, finds the rising air and allows itself to be carried.

Perhaps there is a lesson in that for all of us. Maybe freedom isn't always about trying harder. Maybe sometimes it's about knowing when to spread your wings... and let life carry you.

So today, take a moment. Ask yourself:

"What does freedom mean to me?*"

And perhaps more importantly...

"Where in my life am I still waiting for somebody else's permission to be free?"
