Please be aware that Sheppey Minor Injury Unit will be closed on Saturday 12 September and Sunday 13 September.

JOB VACANCY - OM MEDICAL CENTRE
We are a two-site practice with the main site in Sheerness and the branch surgery in Minster. You must be able to start at 8am and finish at 6.30pm as required on the rota. We are currently recruiting two part time roles.

The successful applicant will need to be friendly and welcoming, patient and understanding and confident using the phone. They will work as part of a team but use their own initiative and work with all types of people.

Essential skills include having good communication, IT literacy and excellent customer service.

Duties
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, managing appointments and patient queries
- Provide general administrative and clerical support
- Perform data entry, process prescriptions and maintain accurate records
- Maintain high standards of confidentiality
- Keep a clean and organised desk/reception area

Experience
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role preferred but not essential as training will be given
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys providing exceptional customer service in a professional environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the smooth operation of the surgery.
