👋🏻 Meet the Physio 👋🏻
I’ve had quite a few new followers recently so I thought I would reintroduce myself! I’m Emily, the face behind Branch Physiotherapy!
I am a specialist Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist, which in other words mean I am a specialist in helping you with muscle, joint and tendon pains, and helping you with sports injuries or returning to activity after surgery. I have a particular interest in utilising strength & conditioning in rehabilitation to empower my clients to be able to return to doing the things that they enjoy!
I completed a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and I have worked in both the private and NHS sectors as a Physiotherapist for 8 years. In addition to this I have undertaken a number of additional qualifications, including being a Pilates instructor and strength and conditioning courses, alongside working towards my MSc.
Although I have a particular interest in working with running injuries, I can help people of all abilities improve their pain. I currently work with a range of clients, from national level cyclists to people who have never stepped foot in a gym!
Your rehabilitation with me will be centred around YOU and your lifestyle. No generic exercise sheets here 🙅🏼♀️🙅🏼♀️🙅🏼♀️
Outside of being a Physio, I love being outdoors as much as I can! I love running, particularly trail and feel very privileged to be able to apply this to my job! I also love exploring Sheffield’s plethora of wonderful independent businesses, many of whom were very supportive in helping me to start my business!
