Thinking about a new career doesn't mean you have to leave your current one tomorrow. π
In fact, many of the people who begin their training with SFTA are already in full-time employment.
They have careers. Families. Commitments. Busy lives.
And that's okay.
Your hypnotherapy training can run alongside the life you already have, allowing you to develop your knowledge, practise your skills and build your confidence without putting everything else on hold.
Students are part of practice groups where they can work with one another, alongside practising with friends and family. It means that even when time is limited, you're continually developing the practical experience that will help prepare you for working with clients.
And when you graduate, there doesn't need to be a dramatic "Friday I do this, Monday I'm a hypnotherapist" moment.
You might begin seeing clients alongside your existing job. Reduce your hours gradually. Build your practice over time. Or make the move when you feel ready.
We've recently explained how not everyone completes our courses because they want to build a career from this, some have other plans, but if you are planning on building your own practice, your career change can be a transition, not a leap.
And that transition can happen in a timeframe that works for you.
If you've been interested in training as a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist but wondered how you could possibly fit it around your current career, perhaps it's more achievable than you thought.
