Well done to Krystina Robyn at the Rotherham 10k, her first race post meniscus injury. We've had to build back up using the jeffing approach, and it's clearly working for her as she beat her target time π€©.
Also well done to the guys at Cleethorpes half today on what looked like a fun but windy day at the seaside.
For , it was her second half marathon , unfortunately, the training didn't go to plan due a pinched nerve. We've managed the symptoms with regular sports massage and adapting the training, dropping the intensity and again using jeffing to get her through her longer runs. She was amazed that jeffing doesn't necessarily slow you down, and she had a great race despite a tumble.
Sharon Colyer had a plan to use it as a training run and progress to race pace . She finished feeling strong and managed a fast finish πͺ.
Laura Fletcher and Andy Hinchliffe also had strong runs done as training runs. It's nice to see Laura back feeling strong and smashing training, and Andy even managed to bag 2nd M60.
Well done, all of you, I know how bad thay grass verge is at Cleethorpes. Have a well-earned rest now π.
