SSGA had the pleasure of supporting Andy at who hosted over 100 girls from Sheffield primary schools for the Girls Football Activators day at .

The girls accessed a workshop breaking barriers and challenges for girls playing football in schools. In addition, they picked up valuable leadership skills from the Post 16 female students who delivered fantastic activities for the girls to try out at school also.

Massive thank you to the students from Firvale and students who supported the event too 👏🏻❤️

We hope that all the girls had a positive experience and manage to implement their action plans in school to provide even more access to girls football for years to come.

We had the pleasure of capping off SATs week with the Y6 rounders festival in partnership with at .s8

SATs can be a stressful week for so many children so we wanted to bring everyone together for a picnic and some rounders activities to end the week on a high.

It was brilliant to see so many children getting involved with smiles on their faces, finding joy from taking part in activities with their friends and peers.

We had a huge amount of support from Y9 Sports Leaders, , Post 16 students and also from and sport students. Their support has been integral to the success of the day. We can’t thank you all enough for your efforts ❤️👏🏻

📣 Help needed! 📣

We are a not for profit school sport partnership working with over 50 schools in north Sheffield, getting more children, more active, more often, particularly those that need us the most.

We are trying to source some POM POMS (Cheerleader style) for an upcoming event and wondered if anyone could help us? Either to borrow (for one day, 17th June 2026) or share a recommended supplier. We require around 30 pairs.

At with in the beautiful sun for the Y3/4 Tennis Festival.

Children from areas of the city who do not have access to tennis facilities were able to join incredible coaches in a range of activities. They were able to practice serving, racket control and volley skills.

Huge thank you to The Academy coaches. You were all brilliant 🙏🏻

Such a brilliant day at for the Primary Ninja Warrior festival in collaboration with .

150 children were able to face a range of personal and team challenges by taking on obstacles varying in difficulties and testing skills

💥 NEW netball session for Y1 Netballers!!

We are opening Steel Netball to Y1 Netballers from this Saturday, 28th March 9am weekly at Canon Medical Arena, S9 3TL. No experience needed, just enthusiasm to come and have a go!

We also have spaces in Y2, Y3 and Y4 in the 9am -10.30am sessions. New players are welcome!
We also have spaces in Y5 10.30am-12pm

🪺 Please note there is no session on Saturday 4th April for Easter break.

Saturday 18th April is a whole club Showcase which replaces all sessions for all players that day.

We look forward to welcoming Y1 Netballers!
