At Numed, we're proud to support initiatives that promote awareness, early detection, and better patient outcomes.

This year's theme, 'Every story is unique, every journey matters,' reminds us that every breast cancer journey is different and that everyone deserves access to timely diagnosis, treatment, and support.

We're also pleased to highlight the Change + Check Campaign from Future Dreams, which encourages people to become familiar with the signs and symptoms of breast cancer and seek advice if they notice any changes.

By continuing to raise awareness and share trusted information, we can help more people recognise the signs early and access the support they need.

Great products deserve exceptional support, and we're delighted to announce that our Technical Support team has achieved a Net Promoter Score of 97.

While an NPS above 50 is widely seen as excellent, scores above 90 are exceptionally rare. It's one of the highest support satisfaction scores we've ever recorded.

Our team supports everything from I³ integration software to patient check-in, waiting room technology and medical devices across primary and community care.

Customers speak to specialists who understand both the technology and the clinical settings it's used in, because we know healthcare professionals rely on these systems every day to support patient care.

We see this as motivation rather than a finish line. Over the past year we've invested in new support processes, better customer communication and more self-help resources, and we'll keep building on that.

This year's theme from the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA),'Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works', highlights the value of creating strong support systems that help parents access the information, guidance and encouragement they need.

The NHS recognises that breastfeeding can offer health benefits for both babies and mothers, but also acknowledges that breastfeeding is a skill that takes time to learn and that many parents may need support along the way.

It's important to remember that every family's experience is different. Some parents breastfeed, some combination feed, and some are unable to breastfeed for medical, personal or practical reasons. Every feeding journey is unique, and parents deserve to feel supported, respected and informed, regardless of how they feed their baby.

World Breastfeeding Week is not about judgement. It's about raising awareness, sharing evidence-based information, and encouraging the networks of support that help families achieve their own feeding goals. From healthcare professionals and employers to family members and friends, we all have a role to play.
