🌍🍼🤱 World Breastfeeding Week 2026 | 1-7 August 🌍🍼🤱

raises awareness of the importance of supporting families throughout their infant feeding journey.

This year's theme from the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA),'Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works', highlights the value of creating strong support systems that help parents access the information, guidance and encouragement they need.

The NHS recognises that breastfeeding can offer health benefits for both babies and mothers, but also acknowledges that breastfeeding is a skill that takes time to learn and that many parents may need support along the way.

It's important to remember that every family's experience is different. Some parents breastfeed, some combination feed, and some are unable to breastfeed for medical, personal or practical reasons. Every feeding journey is unique, and parents deserve to feel supported, respected and informed, regardless of how they feed their baby.

World Breastfeeding Week is not about judgement. It's about raising awareness, sharing evidence-based information, and encouraging the networks of support that help families achieve their own feeding goals. From healthcare professionals and employers to family members and friends, we all have a role to play.

Turning patient feedback into better check-in experience!

When a patient and a practice manager highlighted challenges within the check-in process, we didn’t just take note, we listened. We explored their experience in detail, understood the barriers they faced, and used that insight to drive real change.

The result is our enhanced accessible patient check-in feature — designed to create a more inclusive, user-friendly experience for a wider range of patients, while supporting practices to deliver better care from the very first interaction.

✔ Shaped by real-world insight
✔ Built to support a wider range of accessibility needs
✔ Improves efficiency and patient confidence at check-in

This reflects how we work by, listening closely and continuously evolving what we deliver for our customers and their patients.

If you’re looking to strengthen accessibility and patient experience across your services, we’d love to show you what’s possible.

Today we’re attending the Scottish National User Group (SNUG) Meeting!

We’re looking forward to meeting practice teams, and showcasing our waiting room solutions and integrated diagnostic devices.

With migration from EMIS and Vision LAN to Vision Hosted progressing at speed, it’s a great time to explore solutions that support a smoother transition.

If you’re here, come and say hello to Ben and Josh.

19/05/2026

🚨 Heading to the event? Come and see what’s possible when diagnostics, communication, and patient engagement all work together… 👀

Most practices are still dealing with disconnected systems diagnostics here, patient communication there, and messaging that never quite lands.

We’re changing that.

At Numed, our integrated diagnostics bring everything together, helping you work smarter, communicate better, and ultimately drive better outcomes.

Here’s what you’ll discover when you stop by:

✅ How integrated diagnostics + waiting room TV create a seamless patient journey, from insight to action
✅ How to increase uptake of treatments and services by reinforcing clinical conversations at exactly the right moment
✅ How to reduce admin and manual processes by connecting systems instead of managing them separately
✅ How to deliver consistent, compliant communication across every patient touchpoint

This isn’t just about screens… it’s about joining the dots between diagnosis, communication, and action.

…and of course 👇

🎁 Enter our prize draw to win an Amazon Echo Frame

If you’re interested in working smarter, not harder, and getting more value from the tools you already have come and have a chat.

👉 We’d love to show you how it all connects.

In April, our Green Team swapped their desks for wellies and headed out for a hands-on conservation day with It Wild, planting 80 new trees to help support biodiversity and healthier woodland habitats.

With support from the Make It Wild team, the day was a great reminder that sustainability isn’t just a long-term goal, it’s a shared responsibility that we all play a part in, individuals and companies alike.

Every tree planted is a small but meaningful step towards tackling climate change, restoring ecosystems, and creating a more sustainable future for generations to come.

A huge well done to our Green Team for getting stuck in and turning our sustainability commitments into real action!
