Rainbow Heron Late Night Art Café promotes wellbeing for people through providing a regular safe space, with peer support and creative activities for relaxation, fun, self-expression, exploration, healing and sharing.

I hope you can all make it to this months Rainbow Heron. Sadly, we will need to take a long break after this months session. For some of the volunteers and facilitators this will be our last Rainbow Heron. Which is why we thought it would be nice to have a party to celebrate how wonderful rainbow heron has been. Old and new faces are all welcome, there will be an open space to use the materials as you choose, with some games and party snacks to join in on. You can DM if you would like further information 🌈

“We don’t make mistakes just happy little accidents.” Our peer support group for 18-30 yr olds is back this week with the epic Bob Ross night. We heard how much you enjoyed it last year so thought we’d do it again. So come kick back, relax and pick up a paintbrush. There will also be a selection of materials to choose from so you can choose your own inspiration if you prefer. If you have any queries feel free to DM me. This month we will be using the downstairs studio, so please use the back entrance via the car park. The session will be at Sheffield well-being centre from 5-8pm this Sunday.

Time for another Rainbow Heron announcement! Come along on Sunday 30th April to our mosaic evening at Sheffield well-being centre. Feel free to use our materials and smash up some tiles with us. Our team will be there to welcome you as always! If it’s you’re first time that’s ok, feel free to send a DM if you would like more information before you join us.

So proud of our group for our lantern success. I think we can all but lantern building on our CVS now! I hope everyone who came had a wonderful time. It was so lovely to see Sheffield’s creative community come together and be part of it! Well done everyone ❤️🌈

Hey everyone. This month we will be meeting on the 19th so that we can join in the fun at . We will be meeting at Sheffield Well-being centre at 5pm and will walk together to the carnival around 5.30pm we will then return to Sheffield well-being centre for 8pm. We are looking forward to seeing the lantern some of us made last week in action but don’t worry if you didn’t get to join in making it because you can still come to the carnival with us! See you all then and don’t forget to wrap up warm.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone again at Rainbow Heron on the 26th of February! This month we will be preparing for which takes place in March. We will be working together to build our very own Rainbow Heron lantern! So bring your thinking caps and we will bring the materials. 🌈

Hey everyone! This month to help soothe our way into the new year we will be hosting a Film night at Sheffield Well-being centre. We have made a poll in our story where you can choose which animation film you would like to watch. If you don’t fancy watching the film there will be plenty of art materials to create art of your choice. We hope to see you all soon and welcome all newcomers!

This Sunday from 5-8 at Sheffield Well-being centre we will be decorating yummy gingerbread people! As unfortunately their will not be a December Rainbow Heron we thought it would be nice to have a festive November session instead. As usual you can use any of the materials we have to offer if you don’t fancy a cookie.
