It can be okay to initiate conversations with them. Be a listener and be a friend. Learn which direction to point your LGBTQ+ friends if they ever need tailored support. 🏳️‍🌈

Do what you can to change problematic perceptions. Follow social media pages, talk to friends and find out how you can get involved. Showing up for your LGBTQ+ friends can be just as important as standing up for them. 🏳️‍🌈

We should always make sure to celebrate the small things that go a really long way, not just for our family and friends but for strangers too. 🤲

Acts of kindness can make other people feel amazing and occasionally shed a little bit of light if someone is having a particularly bad day or week.

It might be something as simple as paying someone a compliment or something a little bit bigger like paying for someone's coffee and hopefully they will pass the good vibes on! 🤙
