Hi, everyone sorry to do this for all the good clients ☺️

Just to let you all know that as of today the 22nd June 2026 if you miss an appointment and don’t give 48 hours notice you will have to pay a deposit of £14 to book your next appointment.
The £14 will be taken off your appointment price however if you do not cancel with 48 hours notice the deposit is then non refundable.
I understand emergencies happen but the excuses I have had over the last 6 weeks are,
My hairdresser changed my appointment

Sorry I went out last night and don’t feel up to it

My daughter asked me if I wanted to go shopping

My nail lady was sick and that was the only day she had and I forgot about you.

Well I don’t think they need doing this week so can you come next week ?

My books are extremely full and I currently have a waiting list of people wanting to be clients. It will now be a 3 strike rule.
If you cancel an appointment genuinely I understand however please be aware you may be waiting another 6/8 weeks before I can get you back in.

Thanks everybody I know it’s a long post but this is my job and my livelihood, I have plenty of people waiting to fill slots if you don’t want them. 🥰

If you looked at your relatives feet would you notice these things ?
Pic1. The beginning of tissue breakdown which can lead to pressure sores.
Pic2. The beginning of a corn or pressure sore caused by footwear, (expensive footwear made especially for the elderly)
Pic3. A hard corn caused by pressure and friction, in this particular case caused by compression stockings 😱yes compression stockings.
Pic4. At first look people would assume a corn, this is actually a blister or wound caused by something in the slippers. For diabetics this could mean the loss of a toe a foot or even their life.
Pic5. Psoriasis plaque being dealt with heel creams that contain acid, making the skin overproduce the skin even more.
Pic6. The tiny hole at the side of the nail is where I cleared a corn, the pain is immense the relief is instant, to the everyday person it would look just like toenail.

Cooped up all winter in socks and boots, please be aware that I no longer offer one-off appointments. However if you would like an appointment or know somebody else that would my daughter is also fully qualified, her diary is filling up and spaces are becoming limited.
