This is why I love looking at the body as a whole.
You can see a visible difference around the base of the neck after massage — the tissue looks less congested, the contour appears smoother and there’s less puffiness through the area.
Massage helps to work through muscular tension while also encouraging circulation and normal lymphatic drainage.
We can’t diagnose “fluid retention” from a photograph alone, but we can absolutely see that the tissues have responded to the treatment.
A brilliant example of why massage isn’t just about relaxation.
And this is my neck... so i know it's genuine.
Plus I love looking at what that area of your body pain means.
Upper back: emotional support. Tension here is associated with feeling unsupported, carrying things alone or feeling that there isnt enough support.
