Take action to help fix PIP. 📢

Right now, the government is reviewing Personal Independence Payment (PIP), and soon they’ll be thinking about what changes to make.

This is the best chance we’ve had in over a decade to make PIP fairer for people with MS.

We know the changes needed. We have the policy solutions ready for government. Now we just need the government to adopt them.

So we’re asking you to sign our petition to the government calling on them to fix PIP for people with MS.

With tens of thousands of us adding our voice to a call for change, the government will have to listen. And act.

PIP is meant to help with the extra costs of daily life when living with MS. But too often, people are let down by a PIP system that doesn’t reflect the reality of living with MS - leaving them feeling unseen, unheard, and forced to fight for support.

👉 Sign our petition calling on the UK Government to fix PIP and make PIP fairer for people with MS. https://mssoc.uk/4voWfGv

Our volunteers are vital to the running of our group. Over the last few years they have set up two seated exercise classes, a gym based class, a monthly social group, a monthly choir, Christmas events, MS Awareness events and there’s more to come! It’s not easy when our volunteers are affected by MS themselves yet they do all they can to build our MS community. We take the opportunity this to thank them for everything they do 🎗️🧡🎗️🧡🎗️

It is with great sadness that we have to share the news that our wonderful friend Frank passed away on Wednesday 20th May. A quiet man with a big personality whom we all adored. Our love and thoughts are with his wife Gill and all their family. May we remember him everytime we have a biscuit 🧡🎗️🧡🎗️🧡
