“I just don’t like it… I want it gone!”

This is something we hear so often from patients who have unwanted skin lesions that affect their confidence.

This patient came to us with a noticeable brown raised area of skin just in front of her ear. Although after a thorough examination it was diagnosed to be completely harmless, she felt it was very visible and was becoming increasingly conscious of it, especially when having photographs taken from the side.

During her consultation, we carefully assessed the area, discussed her concerns, took a full history and identified the lesion type to ensure it was appropriate and safe for treatment.

We treated this lesion with CryoPen® — an advanced cryotherapy treatment that uses controlled nitrous oxide to precisely target unwanted skin lesions. Unlike traditional freezing methods, CryoPen allows us to treat the area with accuracy, protecting the surrounding healthy skin.
