We are the majority. Let’s make sure everyone sees that.

On Saturday 5 September, some of our activists rolled down to the capital with our banners and placards to pass a loud and clear message to the misogynistic March 4 Life Annual march: “Pro Life is a Lie, You don’t care if women Die”.

Tension was high and abusive attempts and behaviours from March 4 Life supporters were reported, the manufactured sensationalist facts spewed from the main stage were hard to listen to but we stood our ground, exercising our equal right to be heard and to raise awareness but also to remind anyone in doubt that we will not watch our rights to bodily autonomy slip away without a fight.

Thank you Abortion Rights, Workers' Liberty, Socialist Youth, Bpas and so many other brilliant people who showed up and gave it their all, sore voices and whatnot, under the scorching London sun.

Tilly Middlehurst is an award-winning debater and writer who has built a huge online audience taking on the politics of misogyny, the far right and the growing backlash against women’s rights.

She shot to prominence after her Cambridge Union debate with Charlie Kirk went viral, challenging his arguments on women, feminism and traditional gender roles.

Now she’s joining us at Stand Up for Choice.

Activists and supporters braved the rain throughout today, protesting US backed inteference in our reproductive rights!

March 4 Life hosted a "Rethinking Abortion Conference" on Abbeydale Road, with the express aim of teaching attendees how to persuade someone considering an abortion not to have it.

We were there to say NO; because we believe in
- Informed choices
- Accurate information
- Reproductive rights
- Bodily autonomy

March for Life are very open that their aim is to end all abortions. Since Roe v Wade was overturned in the US, anti choice groups are looking to expand their influence; and anti choice activity here in the UK is on the rise.

We say no! And from the support our activists received today, we know that you do too. Everywhere they gather to restrict our rights, there we will be.
