If someone can tell you’ve had lip filler, that wasn't the brief.

She wanted a little more shape. A little more balance. Still soft. Still natural.

When I'm assessing lips, it's not simply about adding volume. I'm also looking at proportion - including the relationship between the upper and lower lip, where the lower lip is often slightly fuller.

However there’s no "one size fits all". The aim is to work with the face in front of you and create a result which looks believable on her.

That's why I put so much focus on my consultations. “Natural” means something different to everyone, so listening matters just as much as technique.

The after video was taken immediately after treatment, so some swelling and redness is expected at this stage.

A common question I'm asked at this time of year is "When should I book my treatment before my holiday?"

Planning ahead can make all the difference when it comes to aesthetic treatments.

Whether you're preparing for a holiday, wedding or another special occasion, giving yourself enough time allows treatments to settle naturally so you can enjoy the occasion with complete confidence.

As a general guide:

☀️ Wrinkle-relaxing treatments
Ideally, allow around 4 weeks before your holiday or special occasion. This gives your treatment time to take full effect and, where appropriate, allows time for your review appointment and any small adjustments.

💋 Lip enhancement & dermal fillers
Ideally, allow 2–4 weeks to allow any swelling or bruising to settle.

✨ babyGLOW (skin booster)
If babyGLOW is on your wish list this summer, planning ahead allows your course of treatment to be spaced appropriately and gives your skin time to benefit from each session before your holiday or special occasion.
