As Michelle relocates her Pen*stone premises to our beautiful clinic, she’ll be able to continue caring for her lovely Pen*stone clients whilst also welcoming clients to her own salon in Hoyland, giving you even more flexibility and choice.

National Sunscreen Day ☀️

One of the biggest misconceptions I still hear in clinic is:
“I only need SPF when it’s sunny.”

But UV exposure happens every single day — even through cloud cover, windows, and during everyday activities like driving or walking the dog.

And the important thing to understand is this:

A lot of sun damage is cumulative and invisible at first.

It’s honestly been such a long time since I’ve been able to attend events like this properly, so being here tonight feels really special. For the first time in a while, I genuinely feel like my brain is coming back online again — and it feels SO good to be learning, connecting, and getting inspired again.

And this year’s theme is “Give To Gain.”

The older I get, the more I understand that progress doesn’t just happen.
It’s built.
By women who keep going.

Women who give their time.
Their energy.
Their leadership.
Their softness.
Their strength.

Women building businesses while building families.
Women navigating health battles no one else can see.
Women running homes, raising children, carrying responsibility quietly.
Women doing it solo.
Women doing it with support.

There is no single version of strength.

When we give opportunity, space, encouragement, mentorship, protection, belief —
we don’t lose anything.

We gain stronger daughters.
Stronger communities.
Stronger futures.

I look at my girls and I don’t just hope they are confident.
I hope they are equal.
I hope they are heard.
I hope they grow up in a world that doesn’t ask them to shrink to fit it.

🎄 Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 🎄

As the year comes to a close, I just want to say a huge thank you to my patients for your kindness, patience, and understanding throughout a challenging year for me health-wise.

There have been times I’ve had to cancel or reschedule at short notice due to fatigue crashes, and your support during those moments has meant more than you know.

Learning how to pace myself has been one of the hardest parts of this year — especially when you love your job — but I’m starting to get the hang of it.

Despite everything, I still genuinely love what I do and feel so lucky to work with such wonderful people.

Thank you for your continued support — and here’s to a healthier, steadier 2026 🤍
