Excell Home Care have been invited and are in attendance today, at the Derbyshire County Cricket Ground; for the Derby and Derbyshire Care Association’s 2026 Annual Conference.

It’s been fantastic so far, very insightful with what is happening on a local level and what is on the horizon, on a national level, when it comes to all things Adult Care and it’s many challenges, not only for the providers, staff, clients; but also, the local authorities.

We have heard from a multiple of key speakers today and one stand out for us, was from the CQC deputy director of Adult Social Care.

We are already looking forward to the next Derby and Derbyshire annual conference, in 2027!

Today is all about connecting, supporting and representing Adult Care in Derby & Derbyshire.

🛎️ Excell Home Care are looking to recruit additional home support worker’s, to assist with our further expansion from Sheffield and into Chesterfield, Derbyshire 🛎️

Our head office is based on the Sheffield/Derbyshire border and we provide Adult home care services; on behalf of Derbyshire County Council and Sheffield City Council.

Experience is not essential; as full training and support, will be provided in-house by our qualified training team.

Due to the roles flexibility; we will have full and part time hours available.

We have a wide range of shifts; some that start at 7am - until approx 3pm. Evening shifts that start from approx 3pm -until approximately 10pm and also split shifts.

General responsibilities:

•Support with personal care

•Food & Drink Prep

•Medication support

•Companionship

•Empowering them to live the life they want

•Supporting clients to maintain their valued hobbies and interests

Benefits:

Adult Care Home Care experience is not essential; as full training and support will be provided by our qualified training team.

About the role:

The job entails looking after adults in their own homes, supporting them with general day to day tasks. Some of these tasks may include helping them with their personal care; washing, dressing and preparing their meals. We also support with preparing and administering medication, shopping, companionship, cleaning and more.

Due to the roles flexibility; we will have full and part time hours available and is ideal for anyone wanting to fit in extra hours around their other commitments.

We have a wide range of shifts available; some of which include shifts that start at 7am until approx 3pm, Evening shifts that start from approx 3pm, until approximately 10pm and also split shifts.
