🧡 What you Learn...

Our students are now 3 modules into their Hypnoptherapy diplomas and they have already had plenty of practise in both giving and receiving Trance. The powerful tool at the core of what we do.

Trance isn't about losing control or being "under"; it's a natural, focused state of attention we all experience daily - like getting lost in a good book or daydreaming on a train.

It's Module 3 time ⚡️

What we have planned for you this weekend...

✨ You’ll learn more about Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and how it underpins the psychological element of how we work.

✨ More practice using scaling and the miracle question to help your volunteers make plans, so they can take small steps towards their goal.

✨ You will listen to one of David Newton’s case studies to help you structure your session effectively. From this you’ll start to understand how a typical client makes progress.

✨ As usual you will be sharing your experiences of working with clients with the group and hearing about those of your fellow students.

How good does all that sound!

🧠 Mental health is at the core of what we do

Our students are looking forward to Module 3 already this weekend! The early modules of our Diploma course focus on mental health and how hypnotherapy, combined with our solution-focused approach, can support meaningful change.

They explore how hypnotherapy can be a powerful, life-enhancing tool for improving emotional wellbeing and supporting clients with challenges such as anxiety and stress.

Our students also have plenty of opportunities to practise hypnosis and conduct the initial consultation in a supportive learning environment. They learn how to confidently structure a full hypnotherapy session, from carrying out an effective, solution-focused consultation through to guiding a client into trance. This practical experience helps students develop real-world skills and supports them in working towards positive mental health outcomes for their clients.

👋 Meet the Lecturer...

One of the strengths of the CPHT course is that we have AMAZING lecturers!

Great teachers who are also successful, experienced Hypnotherapists - who all trained themselves with CPHT and keep up to date using modern, proven techniques.

Meet Naomi - Coming from a background in adult education and health promotion, Naomi trained with us here CPHT Sheffield with the aim of understanding how anxiety, low confidence and poor self esteem hinder people in achieving their goals.

Since qualifying in 2021, she has continued to run her own practice and become a supervisor. She loves seeing what a difference SFH can make to people's lives in just a few sessions.

Happy Monday - we've just enjoyed a great weekend of learning here at CPHT Sheffield! 😊

Our students have just completed Module 2, and their understanding of hypnotherapy and neuroscience is growing stronger every day! - This module covered the format of a typical solution focused Hypnotherapy session and gave students the tools to explain the brain’s processes to clients with clarity and confidence.

They also had the chance to practice giving and receiving trance sessions with each other - building confidence and honing their skills with every session! Understanding the brain is key to helping clients heal, and this weekend, we explored why hypnotherapy is so effective in addressing issues like anxiety and stress through neuroscience.

Our students now have a deeper understanding of how the brain works and how to guide clients in understanding their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We’re incredibly proud of the progress they’ve made and can’t wait to see them continue to learn 🌟
