STEPS Inclusive Design is now ISO 9001 certified. For anyone specifying assistive products for a patient, a client or a parent, it means our design, sourcing and manufacturing processes have been independently audited rather than self declared: material traceability through development and manufacture, documented supplier evaluation, and quality records that hold up.

Inclusive design begins with real people and real stories.

Our first collection is named in honour of Lana, the mother of our co-founders Jules and Toria. It reflects our belief that inclusive design begins with real people and real stories, and that support products should empower, not label.

Too often, assistive equipment is named like a product code and purely clinical: model numbers and abbreviations that speak to conditions, not people. We began somewhere more human.

Our guiding question is simple - would we be proud to see someone we love using it?
