🎩🔔 What a fantastic day at Garden House! 🌿❤️

We were treated to a brilliant performance from our local Morris Dancers, bringing plenty of music, dancing, bells and good old-fashioned fun to Garden House! 🎶💃

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and joined us — you certainly helped make it a lovely atmosphere! 🥰

Staff and residents throughly enjoyed it ❤️

And of course, a big thank you to the Morris Dancers for putting on such a great show. 👏🔔

📦💭 Memory Box Activities at Garden House 💭📦

Today we enjoyed a lovely Memory Box activity, bringing back special memories through familiar objects, photographs and conversations. ❤️

It was wonderful to see our residents sharing stories from their past, reminiscing about people, places and moments that hold a special place in their hearts. 🥰

Activities like this are a beautiful way to encourage conversation, connection and reminiscence, while creating plenty of smiles and laughter along the way. 💕

🎉🎂 Happy 96th Birthday, Margaret! 🎂🎉

What a wonderful day we’ve had celebrating our very special Margaret turning 96! ❤️

The celebrations continued with a lovely afternoon tea party surrounded by family, friends and fellow residents, making it a truly special occasion. 🫖🧁🌸

There was plenty of laughter, smiles, delicious treats and, of course, lots of birthday wishes for Margaret. It was so lovely to see everyone come together to celebrate such an incredible milestone.

Big thanks to all involved in making today a success 🥰

Today we celebrated our wonderful Margaret as she reached the amazing age of 96! 🥳💐

And what better way to make her birthday even more special than a VIP visit from Barry! 🥰❤️ Barry popped in to help us celebrate, bringing plenty of smiles, laughter and some very special birthday memories.

🌾 A Trip Down Memory Lane at Garden House 🌾

Today, our wonderful residents enjoyed a fantastic reminiscing session all about farming, led by the lovely Jan. 🐄🚜

From dressing up as farmers to holding shepherd’s crooks and even cuddling a very friendly cow, the activity sparked so many wonderful conversations and memories. Residents shared stories of growing up on farms, milking cows, harvesting crops and helping with the daily jobs that shaped rural life.

Reminiscence activities like these are a wonderful way to encourage conversation, laughter and connection, helping to bring cherished memories back to life while supporting wellbeing.

A huge thank you to Jan for bringing farming to Garden House and creating such a fun and meaningful afternoon for everyone. ❤️
