I honestly never thought I’d teach kids again.

I got too stressed out, planning every single class & sequence & creative task to the nth degree.

Navigating the dynamics and personalities of teenagers, and my spicey brain constantly second guessing ‘is this good enough? Do they like it? Do they like me?’

Bloody exhausting before I even kicked a leg up!

This Windrush inspired project has shown me how much I’ve grown, softened and mellowed, and above all else, learnt to trust myself and the process .

‘It’s all working out’ was the mantra, and woooooweee, It’s been a ride, let me tell you!

Going back to Phoenix, after 7 years was like returning after a weekend away.

My desk, where I wreaked technological havoc upon my boss was still standing.

Students who I’d taught at The Yourh Academy, were now inspiring their own dance groups❤️

Hugging friends who I’d not seen for years, and feeling the joy of reconnection❤️🙌🏽🥰

The images of my dance career on the walls, made me realise the gift I was given, of the 5 years at Phoenix and the family that we were, and still are, bonded through Graham, sweat and laughter🙌🏽❤️

Seeing the girls come into their own after only 7 weeks and produce a fantastic, professional looking piece, brought pure joy🙌🏽❤️🙏🏽

Craniosacral Therapy has allowed me to move forward in life, to fully immerse myself in the flow, without the constant worry, fear and anxiety, that were holding me back.

The nervous system settles, the racing mind switches off and the weight of feeling like I have to hold and control everything, dissolves, bringing clarity and peace🙏🏽❤️
