NEWS: We’re making some changes online, and we want you to know that we're operating as normal in the meantime.

While there are some exciting changes happening at Shipston Therapy Centre, our clinic is open and all treatments are continuing as usual.

Following our recent DIY project and store refresh, we thought it would be nice to start sharing some of what’s new in store, and, importantly, a little about who’s behind the products we choose to stock.

As we build out our range, the principles remain the same: strong ethics, natural ingredients, no animal testing, organic wherever possible, UK-based where we can, and proper sustainability credentials — not just a nice label!

One of our newest additions is , founded by Preya and Med, all their products are formulated and made in Cornwall.

Bloomtown began life at their kitchen table in 2016, inspired by their first-hand experience of seeing the devastating effects of palm oil cultivation on virgin rainforest and the endangered wildlife that depends upon it. They went on to become the UK’s first independently certified palm oil-free company, creating a gorgeous range of natural body and skincare products.

Palm oil and its derivatives aren’t always obvious on an ingredients list and can appear under numerous different names, making it surprisingly difficult for consumers to know exactly what they’re buying.

But something else we particularly like about Bloomtown is their no-nonsense approach to greenwashing. No vague eco claims, no clever wording designed to make something sound greener or more natural than it really is — just a refreshingly transparent approach to ingredients, sourcing and sustainability.

And that matters to us.

Because as our shelves grow, we don’t want more stuff. We want good stuff, from good people, doing things properly. We think you’ll love it too.

As a thank you for helping shape the future of the store, everyone who comments will be entered into a draw to win one of three Natural Health gift bags, filled with some of our favourite products.

Over the coming month, whilst some of the team enjoy a well-earned summer break, and Agnes continues her recovery after a recent hospital procedure, we're taking the opportunity to refresh and expand the Health Store.

The team will be back in full swing from mid-August, and in the meantime, we're making room for some exciting new additions. Alongside many of the trusted brands you already know and love, we'll be introducing carefully selected new ranges, including Hifas da Terra medicinal mushrooms, BetterYou oral sprays, Bare Biology high-potency omega-3 and collagen, together with beautiful new natural oral care and body care collections. We're also exploring more locally made and award-winning products that share our commitment to quality, sustainability and effectiveness.

We don't follow trends. We choose products because we believe in their quality, their ethics and, above all, because we'd be happy to recommend them to our own family. Wherever possible, we support UK businesses, choose natural and organic ingredients, and work with brands that are kind to people and the planet.

We're also making the store brighter, easier to browse and an even better place to discover trusted natural health products and ask for professional advice.
