✨WE HAVE MOVED✨
But not very far….
If you’ve been following our social media the past few weeks you will know that two weeks ago Solstice flooded. This wasn’t a flooding from a tap or pipe, this was caused by a roofing issue above the studio. The ceiling was gushing water from all angles, it was one of my worst nightmares as a business owner.
The studio move was only going to be temporary however the damage caused by the water was a lot more extensive than we originally thought. Either that same night or the next day the ceiling fell through due to the weight of the water, I am extremely lucky I wasn’t in there when this happened because our story would of been much worse.
After a few weeks of going through everything and figuring things out, we decided that we actually really like our new home soooo we are moving permanently!
As someone who’s neurodivergent, this has been one of the biggest and hardest things to navigate. Unexpected change for anyone neurodivergent is HARD and not only did I have to move physically, the mental move has been extremely difficult. Solstice is my baby and I put every fibre of my soul into it and watching everything crash around me has had an impact beyond words HOWEVER… upon reflection I think that maybe this was needed, maybe this is a new era of Solstice and maybe this was meant to happen.
There’s still a lot to do behind the scenes to get the studio to fit my new vision but I promise you all that this is going to be the next chapter and the BEST chapter yet!!
The biggest thankyou to everyone who’s reached out and supported me since this disaster and a huge thankyou to every customer that’s kept me a float during this time. Things are only about to get better 🌞✨
