There is no perfect time to start.

I’ve been chatting about this with a few of our members recently…

Life is busy.

Work. Kids. Family. Holidays. Social events. Things you didn’t plan for.

And the reality is, it’s probably not going to suddenly become perfectly organised.

So maybe being busy is actually the BEST time to start.

Because if you can learn to exercise when life isn’t perfect — that’s when you’ve built something that can actually last.

Some weeks that might mean 3 sessions.

Some weeks 2.

Sometimes it might be one really good 45-minute workout.

It all counts.

You don’t need the perfect programme.

You don’t need the perfect coach.

You don’t need the perfect Monday to start.

You just need to get in the game and keep taking steps in the right direction.

Progress > perfection.

Because the people who get results in the long run aren’t perfect…

They’re consistent.

Stop trying to have the “perfect” week.

Ask yourself instead:

👉 What’s the minimum I can realistically commit to this week and still move forward?

One, two, or three purposeful workouts consistently beat five planned workouts that never happen.

Make the sessions count. Keep the habit alive. Get on with your life.

Our next 6-Week Reset starts 14th September — message RESET if you’d like the details.

Meet Coach Lucy 👋🧡

“One of the things I love most about coaching is helping people realise they’re capable of more than they thought.

Whether someone’s goal is to lose weight, get stronger, improve their confidence or simply feel healthier, it’s incredibly rewarding to be part of that journey.

I know that starting, or getting back into exercise, can feel daunting. That’s why my coaching style is supportive, encouraging and completely judgement-free. Everyone starts somewhere, and I’m here to help you build confidence, create sustainable habits and enjoy the process along the way.

One of my favourite parts of coaching is getting to know our members. Some sessions are about helping someone through a challenging time in their life, while others are filled with laughter from start to finish.

Building genuine relationships is what makes this job so special to me.

I’m often described as bubbly and energetic, and I love bringing positivity into every session.

Seeing our members enjoying their training, making new friends and achieving goals they never thought possible makes me incredibly proud.

Whether it’s feeling more confident, moving better, losing weight or becoming stronger, every success is worth celebrating.

When I’m not at the gym, you’ll usually find me spending time with friends and family or with my fiancé, as we’re busy planning our wedding next year.

If you’re looking to feel your best for a wedding, holiday or simply everyday life, I’d love to help you get there.”

Meet the Team 👏🧡

Holly - Coach

“I love helping people discover just how capable they really are. While it’s always rewarding to see physical changes, what means the most to me is watching someone grow in confidence, enjoy exercise again and become more consistent than they ever thought possible.

I particularly enjoy working with people who need a little extra support. Many of our members have never felt comfortable in traditional gyms, so creating a welcoming environment where people feel encouraged, supported and genuinely enjoy coming to train is something I’m passionate about.

It’s amazing to see people arrive feeling nervous and, over time, become confident, happier and healthier versions of themselves.

My coaching style is supportive, encouraging and fun. I’ll always meet you where you’re at, but I also know when you’re capable of a little more than you think. Helping people achieve things they never imagined they could is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.

People often describe me as a great listener, approachable and always positive. I want every member to feel heard, supported and confident that they’re never facing their journey alone.

What makes me proudest as a coach is seeing our members become the best version of themselves—not just physically, but in the way they carry themselves, the confidence they build and the healthier habits they create. Whether you’re just starting out or have exercised before, I love helping people unlock their potential and build a healthier, stronger future.

Outside of the gym, I love spending time with my family, friends, my partner Connor and our dachshund, Biscuit. You’ll often find us exploring National Trust walks (usually with a coffee and cookie in hand because life’s all about balance!).

I’m also a huge fitness enthusiast and enjoy taking part in events like HYROX, 10Ks and Parkruns—but above all, I believe fitness should help you enjoy life, not take it over.”

If you’re 55+, getting stronger isn’t just about lifting heavier weights.

It’s about making everyday life easier.

Carrying the shopping.

Getting up and down from the floor.

Climbing the stairs.

Playing with the grandkids.
Travelling.

Staying active and independent.

And you don’t need a complicated workout to do it.

Here are 5 bang-for-your buck exercises we’d prioritise:

1️⃣ Squats - legs, hips and getting up and down

2️⃣ Romanian deadlifts- glutes, hamstrings and picking things up

3️⃣ Lat pull downs - back and pulling strength

4️⃣ Dumbbell presses - Upper-Body pushing strength

5️⃣ Farmers carries - grip, core, posture and everyday carrying strength

The goal isn’t to train like you’re 25.

It’s to build and maintain enough Strength, muscle and fitness to keep doing the things you enjoy for as long as possible.

And if you’re starting later in life, that’s absolutely fine. Start with what you can do today and build from there.

Strong isn’t an age. 💪

Meet the Team 👋🧡

Connor owner / coach

“I started Endorph fitness because I saw too many people feeling intimidated, uncomfortable or completely overlooked in traditional gyms.

Fitness shouldn’t feel embarrassing or overwhelming, especially when you’re trying to improve your health and feel better about yourself.

Our goal has always been to create a supportive environment where everyday people, especially adults over 35, can build confidence, get stronger and enjoy exercise without pressure or judgement.

I’m far more interested in helping people create sustainable habits and long-term health than chasing quick fixes or extreme transformations that don’t last.

Seeing members walk in feeling nervous and gradually become happier, healthier and more confident is still the best part of what we do.

During my free time you’ll likely find me drinking coffee with Boo (Holly) playing with our mini dachschund biscuit or trying to catch a fish.” 🎣 ☕️🌭

The “Anti” Gym 🙌🧡

We often speak to people who want to start their strength and fitness journey but don’t like the traditional gym environment.

(Just this morning I had one of these conversations)

Trust me we get it.

Big open spaces and not knowing what to hardly scream inspiring 😅

Sure if you’re one of the lucky ones who loves exercise and know exactly what to do, fine.

But that’s not the case for most people..

The good news is there is a better way 😀

At Endorph we…

✔️ run 45 minute coached sessions, no guessing
✔️ no open gym (no wondering around not knowing what to do
✔️ offer 5* support and accountability
✔️Meet you where you’re at, no one else
✔️ track your progress and keep you motivated

Here’s how to create your own motivation 🙌

Most of the time motivation doesn’t effortlessly show up.

Which is why it can be so hard to be consistent with your health and fitness goals.

work, life and kids make life extremely busy, it’s no wonder most people struggle.

Here some useful advice to create your own motivation.

I like James clears 2 minute rule.

Basically trick yourself into starting, get to the gym, start the warm up and boom you’ll be in it.

Find an environment that removes friction. Most people don’t need to change the goal they need to change the system / environment they’re using to get there.

If you have never got on well in commercial gyms why would it be different this time? Or maybe they served you at one time but things have changed.

Find a friendly environment that you want to show up to and the consistency and motivation will take care of itself.

Treat your exercise / health time like your other important appointments. After all what’s more important than looking after YOU?

Ask for help!! Take a no guesswork approach is a sure way to fail. Invest in an expert that can save you time, make exercise specific to you and cares about your goals.

It’s a much nicer experience I promise.

Lastly find people with similar goals. We all perform better together plus it’s a lot more fun.
