✝️Finished my short visit back home with a trip out to the Cornish village of Altarnun; if you have ever read ‘Jamaica Inn’ by Daphne Du Maurier (my most favourite book ever) you’ll know why it’s worth a visit. Although the church here now - St Nonna, known as the cathedral of Bodmin Moor - was built in the 15thC, it is named for the original place of worship here , a Celtic building from the 6th C. Furthermore, St Nonna, the Celtic Saint, was also the mother of St David. Wandering around there today, it was clearly a ‘thin’ place with the most peaceful and ancient energy ✝️

✝️During the war, Plymouth was razed to the ground. This main town church St Andrews was bombed out leaving just a shell. Services were still held there , garden areas were placed therein until the years when it was rebuilt. Someone wrote in chalk on the beam RESURGAM and thus when it was rebuilt, as you can see, a plaque was placed above the main entrance .
