We had a lovely afternoon at We Are Beams' Afternoon Tea celebration, marking their incredible 30th year. 🎉
The food was delicious, the entertainment was brilliant, and it was wonderful to be part of such a special occasion. A huge congratulations to everyone at We Are Beams for 30 years of making a positive difference in the community. Here's to many more years of success! 💙

We are delighted to celebrate Courtenay’s fantastic achievement in successfully completing her Level 4 Lead Practitioner in Adult Care Apprenticeship.

This qualification is a testament to her dedication, hard work, professionalism, and commitment to delivering outstanding care and support. Throughout her apprenticeship, Courtenay has demonstrated excellent leadership skills, a passion for learning, and a genuine commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of those she supports.

We are incredibly proud of everything she has accomplished and look forward to seeing her continue to grow and inspire others within the adult care sector.

🎳 Bowls Session at Smyth Lodge 🎳

The residents recently enjoyed a wonderful Bowls session held here at Smyth Lodge, and it was a fantastic activity for everyone involved!

There was plenty of friendly competition, laughter, and encouragement as residents took turns aiming for those all important shots. It was lovely to see everyone joining in, supporting one another, and having such an enjoyable time together.

Activities like these are a great way to promote movement, social interaction, and lots of fun throughout the day.

🎲 Fun & Games 🎴

The residents recently enjoyed a fantastic session of fun and games, bringing plenty of laughter and friendly competition to the day!

There was lots of excitement as everyone took part in throwing the dice and trying their luck with “Play Your Cards Right.” The room was filled with smiles, cheering, and good-natured banter as residents encouraged one another and celebrated every win.
We are looking forward to the next game session! 😊

🧩 Puzzles with Lou & St George’s Day Celebrations 🐉🇬🇧

Residents had a lovely time recently enjoying puzzles with Lou, where residents come together for a bit of fun, friendly challenge, and plenty of teamwork.

We also marked St George’s Day with some themed activities, celebrating England’s patron saint.

The residents at Smyth had a wonderful afternoon on 21st May enjoying a live performance from a talented singer. There was plenty of singing along, toe-tapping, dancing, and smiles all around as favourite songs filled the room.

Music has a special way of bringing people together and creating happy memories, and it was lovely to see everyone having such a great time. Thank you to our entertainer for a fantastic performance and to all our residents who joined in and made the afternoon so enjoyable🎤💃🕺

A huge congratulations and well done to Ashley for completing the 26.2 mile Brighton Marathon and raising an incredible £700 for Dementia UK
