It’s time to ‘winterproof’ your skin. Much like we prepare the garden for the frost, we should also do this for our skin.

We can’t expect it to sparkle & shine if we don’t feed it topically the nutrients it needs (remember this is THE largest, living, breathing organ on the body)

Much of the time we overlook it as an unimportant ‘thing’ yet when we want it to step, we expect it to do so at a moments notice!!

😱 I’ve received soooo many messages this week from you lovely lot all asking the same question:

Why is my skin having a meltdown?

Firstly I just want to say this: when the seasons shift, especially when we go from a really mild autumn to it being like someone has left the freezer door open. Your skin will have something to say about it!

As we turn the dial up on the central heating your poor skin is wondering wtf is happening. So before you start dousing yourself in more oil than you would need to cook your roasties in.

Let me tell you about what your Fairy Skinmother (that’s me btw!) has up her sleeve for you ⬇️

As all these panic message came flooding in, it got me thinking (as this is how my squirrel brain works! 🤣) ‘how can I fix this’ and after much tree hugging, dancing in the woods and pondering over a brew, I came up with........’the pre festive fix’

Happiest of Birthdays to my first born, my ride or die, the haven i’ve needed to grow and explore my place is this INTENSE industry.

There are so many things I love about working within the ‘beauty’ industry but also so many things that I really don’t enjoy about it.

But today is all about celebrating equilibrium HQ. It has definitely seen a lot over the years and has pivoted on so many occasions and as I write this post there are currently three businesses working from 86 Kirkgate.

I actually cannot believe that I have reached such a milestone already. It’s whizzed by so quickly, I feel like I’ve blinked and it’s just gone by a flash!

And although I have been focusing on building my fasting platform, by no means has my passion of fondling faces dwindled!

I am still very much a corneotherapist (that’s skin to you 😜) at heart and will continue to fly the flag and advocate for people to use a corneotherapeutic approach to skin - that means no harsh ingredients, treatments, or barrier damaging events on my watch!

i’ll continue to work with integrity, full honesty and transparency (which I know doesn’t always suit everybody) because I believe that that is the way you and your skin will get the best.

Thank you to all my clients past and present that have supported this little journey that I have been on with Equilibrium, and I cannot wait to see what 2026 has in store for this little baby! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

I’ve been exactly where you are - convinced that the next product would be THE one. Spending hundreds on serums that promised miracles but left my skin more confused than ever 😩
