PS. Just a small but very important thing - everything we do here at RPM Record Shop supports our team of adults with learning disabilities, autism and down syndrome.

It's been an exciting week here at RPM, as we all received our new uniforms! We think Amy was the most excited about it - don't worry Amy, yours is waiting for you here! Everyone was given a new hoodie and t-shirt in an RPM branded bag - very fancy! And as you can see it looks very smart, we can't wait to see everyone wearing them...

Ave and Shelley were checking the stock of our new vinyl this week with the help of Ffion and Fay. Some great teamwork was needed and everyone worked so well together, which is what it is all about.

We also went though the gaps in our pre-loved vinyl in the shop, so we could price up some more to put out. Seems the customers have mostly been buying from the letter G, as that seemed to be what was most needed. Very random...

As ever its not all hard work, we do try to squeeze in some fun! So, this week we have played a few competitive games of 'Trivial Pursuit' in teams of two. On Tuesday, we played a particularly tough game, but in the end Millie and Lucy were triumphant - rematch next week anyone!?

Well, our new workwear has arrived - and we are delighted with it! Here's Jamie today modelling our new t-shirt and hoodie, a design all in keeping with our new monochrome colour scheme and our fabulous RPM Record Shop logo.

Huge thanks to Tony at Kent Catering Service Ltd in Sheerness for the support in the purchase of them and to Kevin and the team at AMS Workwear in Chatham for the design and delivery.

We know that everyone will now look super smart whilst at work!

It's been all about the organisation this week at RPM!

We decided our compilation CDs were in desperate need of reorganising. So we made one big mess by taking them all off the shelves then going through them individually to decide which genre they belonged to. A pretty mammoth task but the team took it in their stride.

While we were at it, we decided to also go through the preloved vinyl and repair any of the sleeves that needed it. This task was a bit more fiddley and required team effort.

Obviously, another part of running a record shop is dealing with the money side of things. Friday's team did the very important job of cashing up.

Our artist of the week this week was Dizzee Rascal (Lucy requested that we have someone who was still alive this time!) the team all found some facts about him, and we listened to some of his music.

Finally, we watched a few clips from the VMA awards, we think that as we are running a shop that sells all sorts of music (as shown by our genre rearrange) we should be keeping up with the latest music news.
