💉 SAME CLIENT… DIFFERENT PRACTITIONER 💉
Maria came to me wanting a natural result, but after 18 months of treatment she had become used to the changes in her face. When it still didn’t feel right, she believed one more syringe might fix it.
Morally, I couldn’t keep adding filler simply because she was willing to pay for it.
I listened. I assessed. I explained.
Then I recommended we STOP, DISSOLVE & REASSESS.
Dissolving was genuinely upsetting for Maria. It meant undoing a journey she had invested thousands of pounds in and trusting me when I told her that adding more wasn’t the answer.
This isn’t about believing everyone should look natural or expecting clients to simply do what I say. It’s about experience, safety and psychological wellbeing.
Continually adding filler can feed the need for further change, while increasing the amount of product within tissues containing important blood vessels. My experience and anatomical knowledge guide how and where I inject, but I cannot see through the skin or know exactly what existing volumes of filler may be placing pressure on.
We dissolved her cheeks, lips, chin and jaw, reassessed her natural anatomy and rebuilt carefully.
And now? She’s happy. She finally feels like she’s reached the finish line, rather than constantly believing the next syringe will get her there.
That, to me, is where experience matters most — knowing that success isn’t measured by how much filler I can put in, but by reaching the point where my client no longer feels she needs it.
