IPL works best when the hair is in the active growth (anagen) phase, because that’s when there’s enough pigment (colour) in the hair to absorb the light and target the follicle.

That’s why you need a course of treatments spaced several weeks apart — each session catches a different group of hairs as they enter the growth phase. 🤍
