For all the new followers a little introduction to me.

I'm Liz the face behind Seen & Hird. My journey into Holistic therapies started initially after I completed a counselling qualification and realised I wanted to look at a whole wellness approach.

In my former life I worked in law - a total change from where I am today. I found reiki after a stressful period in life and I felt so amazing I knew I had to share it. I've not looked back since.

I've experienced many things in life from losing my dad at a young age, having lived experience of mental health issues and caring for a parent with dementia - not to mention the challenges life often throws in for us all to keep us on our toes.

You can probably guarantee if life is throwing you a curve ball I can emphasize and help you with your healing journey.

So if you're after a friendly face who understands you, you have come to the right place. My treatment room is a sanctuary to switch off from the world and just be.

What a wonderful weekend of sound - finally experienced the floating soundbath at Ilkley.

And some sound bath training for you - loved every minute and I'm looking forward to being able to incorporate this into my treatments.

September already - how did that happen?

For as long as I can remember rather than fresh starts in January when no-one has the energy in the midst of winter I have looked at September as new beginnings.

Back to routine after summer holidays, kids back at school always gives me more of a time for reflection on what I want to put into place for the remaining months of the year.

Are you thinking about more time for yourself to rest and re-charge? Promised yourself it all year and now you have survived the 6 week holidays you need some downtime?
