My response time is a little slower than usual at the moment. I’m currently clearing out my old studio ready to hand the keys back to the landlord next week, while also dealing with a family member who is critically ill in hospital.

I’m trying to juggle everything, and right now I just don’t have as much time or headspace to focus on messages and business enquiries.

✨ IT’S OFFICIAL — SIM1NK TATTOO STUDIO IS MOVING HOME! ✨

I’m so happy to finally announce that my brand-new private home studio has passed all required regulations with flying colours! ✅🎉

This means that from Saturday 21st August, my Ruskington studio will be permanently closed as I officially begin this exciting new chapter. 🖤✨

📍 From Tuesday 25th August, ALL booked appointments will take place at my new private studio in Billinghay.

Please don’t worry — your appointment date and time remain exactly the same. The only change is the location, which is just a short journey from my old Ruskington studio.

Over the next few days, I’ll be working my way through my diary and contacting every client with an upcoming appointment individually. You’ll receive:

🚪 Where to enter the studio
🗺️ Directions to help you find me easily

So please keep an eye on your messages if you have an appointment booked with me.

A little note from me 🖤

I’m sorry if my replies are a little slower than usual at the moment. Life is pretty full-on behind the scenes!

I’m currently getting one studio ready while closing another, still working, being a Mum, juggling normal everyday life… and unfortunately, I’ve also recently received some devastating personal news that has completely turned my world upside down and understandably added a whole new priority to my time.

There genuinely doesn’t seem to be a day where I get a chance to stop at the moment! 😅 I’m doing everything I can to keep showing up, keep things moving and still be present for my lovely clients — but sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day.

So if I’m a little slower getting back to messages, please bear with me. I haven’t forgotten you! 🖤 Your patience, kindness and understanding mean more than you probably realise right now.

And amongst all the chaos, I’m SO excited to hopefully welcome you all into my new little studio in just a few weeks’ time… assuming I’ve actually finished it by then! 🤣🤞🏼

Today I’m so incredibly excited to finally share that Sim1nk Tattoo Studio is moving to a brand-new luxury private home studio in Billinghay! 🖤

Many of you have been with me through studio moves, COVID, becoming a mum, ongoing health struggles, the heartbreak of losing my beloved fur babies, Tym’s retirement and so many of life’s ups and downs. Through it all, you’ve supported me with kindness, patience and understanding, and I’ll never forget it. 🖤

As many of you know, my spinal condition has continued to deteriorate and I’m now facing the possibility of major back surgery. For a long time, I genuinely believed I might have to walk away from the career I’ve loved for almost 20 years.

Thankfully… I was wrong.

With the incredible support of North Kesteven District Council, I’ve been given the opportunity to create a fully licensed, fully insured, private home studio. It honestly feels like I’ve been given my future back. 🥹

The only difference is the location.

My beautiful new studio will be in Billinghay, less than 10 minutes from Ruskington, with private off-road parking and a calm, welcoming environment.

To every single one of my amazing clients… thank you. Thank you for trusting me, believing in me, supporting me through some of the hardest chapters of my life, and allowing me to continue doing the job I absolutely adore.

After almost 20 years of hard work and determination, this truly feels like my happy ever after. 🖤 It means I can finally build a career around my life instead of constantly sacrificing my life for my career.

For all my existing booked clients: Don’t worry everything will continue as planned. I’m currently creating my dream studio and I’ll contact each of you personally before your appointment with the new address and all the details.

I honestly can’t wait to welcome you all through the doors very soon.

✨MY BOOKS ARE NOW CLOSED ✨

My diary is now officially closed until I release my 2027 dates.

Diary opening day will be announced this October (date to be confirmed), so please keep an eye on my page if you’d like to book in with me next year 🎉🖤

I do have a very small number of appointments being held back for clients who already have consultations booked or due to have consultations in the coming months.

Thank you all so much for your continued support, for believing in me, and for your patience while I juggle everything. I know I’m not always the quickest at replying, but I genuinely appreciate every single enquiry, recommendation and booking. It never goes unnoticed. 🫶

We’re wishing you nothing but happiness and success for your next venture. Retirement from Tattooing may be the end of one incredible chapter, but I know it’s the beginning of another adventure that you’ll throw yourself into with the same passion, dedication and determination you’ve always had.

It’s been an absolute privilege to work alongside you for the past 13 amazing years. We’ve worked in 3 different studios together, made it through a global pandemic, and shared so much more than just work. We’ve celebrated births, supported each other through grief and loss, laughed through the great times, and somehow found our way through the hard ones too. You’ve been my amigo since I was in my late twenties, and I genuinely feel like I’ve grown as a person alongside you.

Thank you for everything you’ve done for me, for your friendship, your support, your endless knowledge, and for all the laughs we’ve shared (mostly at your expense! 😂).

You’ve given 110% to everything you’ve ever done, and I have no doubt you’ll absolutely smash whatever comes next. Your work ethic, talent and loyalty have always been inspiring.

I’ll miss seeing you in the studio, the banter, the ridiculous moments, putting up with my teenage ways and knowing you were only ever in the next booth. But more than anything, I’m grateful for the memories we’ve made together and for always being there through both the good times and the difficult ones.

Thank you for being not only an incredible Tattoo artist, Friend, colleague and being such a great representative of Sim1nk!

Here’s to tight lines, big carp, new adventures, less pain, and a well-earned retirement from Tattooing.
