We can confirm we will still be running the Transition Event tomorrow at the Recruitment and Training Centre at 16-18 Maple Walk, Chelmsely Wood Shopping Centre. The Centre (Image provided below) has air-conditioning and there will be water and other drinks available.

There will be an opportunity to speak with Employment and Skills, Independent Travel Training, EHCP service, Learning Disability Teams, Adult Social Care, Solar and more.

Solihull MBC has received the call from Ofsted/Care Quality Commission inspection.

The Area inspection will be from 22nd June - 10th July. In the first week, we ask parent carers and young people to provide feedback.

The Surveys will close on Tuesday 30th June at 9am.

This week has been Learning Disability Week, and this year's theme is "Do You See Me?" a powerful reminder to see the whole person, recognise their strengths, listen to their voices, and challenge the barriers they face every day.
As a Parent Carer Forum, we know that every child and young person with a learning disability has unique talents, aspirations, and so much to offer. We also know that families continue to face challenges in accessing the understanding, support, and opportunities they deserve.

At SPCV we are working identifying opportunities to enhance the pathway, improve consistency, and ensure it delivers the best possible outcomes for young people.
