A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at our Strawberry Fayre today. What a fantastic afternoon it has been, filled with laughter, smiles, and so many wonderful memories.

A special thank you to Nigel for keeping everyone entertained throughout the afternoon. Your wonderful performance brought so much joy and had everyone singing along, dancing, and smiling.

It was lovely to see so many families and friends come together to support our home. Your kindness, support, and company mean so much to our residents and staff, and helped make the day truly special.

💇‍♀️✨ Hairdresser Day at Orchard Court! ✨💇‍♂️

Every Wednesday is a day our residents always look forward to as we welcome our wonderful hairdresser.

There’s nothing quite like a fresh haircut or a new hairstyle to make you feel your best. Alongside the pampering, it’s a lovely opportunity for our residents to enjoy a chat, share a laugh, and spend quality time together.

A visit to the hairdresser is about so much more than looking good—it’s about boosting confidence, promoting wellbeing, and helping our residents feel special.

A huge thank you for helping our residents look and feel amazing every single week. 💕✂️

We’ve had a lovely walk to Costcutter today to pick up some delicious ice creams to enjoy in this beautiful weather! ☀️🍦

As well as treating ourselves, we enjoyed taking in the beautiful houses and scenery around South Cave. Getting out into the fresh air, chatting along the way, and making the most of the sunshine is such a wonderful way to spend the day. It’s the simple moments like these that create the happiest memories. 💛🌳

Creativity has been blooming here at Orchard Court! 🌸

Our residents have been getting creative making beautiful flowers and, of course, enjoying diamond art. It’s such a relaxing activity that encourages concentration, creativity and conversation, and the finished pieces are always so effective and rewarding.

We love arts and crafts here at Orchard Court, where every creation is made with care and brings plenty of smiles along the way. 💐✨

A little fresh air, teamwork and a sense of purpose! 🌳🍎

Our residents enjoyed spending some time outdoors helping to tidy up around the apple tree, clearing away leaves and keeping the area looking lovely. Taking part in everyday tasks like these encourages gentle physical activity, promotes independence and gives everyone the opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way.

It was a lovely afternoon spent chatting, working together and making the most of the beautiful weather. Well done, everyone! 💚

Bingo is so much more than just a game – it encourages concentration, supports memory and number recognition, and most importantly brings everyone together for lots of smiles and conversation.
