Hi I’m Gem, the founder of Lovabelle (2015). I’m a qualified Infant Massage and Baby Yoga Instructor and have worked in education for many years. I studied child development and have a great insight into babies brain development and the importance of early bonds and attachments with parents and caregivers. I left my job as a Tutor in August 2015 after my maternity leave ended and I made the decisi

on to start up a gorgeous little business called Sensory Explorers. After 8 successful years and thousands of babies through our doors, it was time to expand and share our classes with others. We renamed the business Lovabelle which you now all know and love and now run a s a Franchise. I am so excited to meet all of you and your little ones to pass on my knowledge and share those magical moments with you and your baby. We are a Parent and Baby Group designed to encourage your babies physical and brain development. Babies are born with many sensory pathways in their brains which disappear if they are not reinforced. Lovabelle's carefully selected activities encourage the use of all babies senses (including their vestibular development which will improve balance) reinforcing those sensory pathways and helping little ones to develop and reach key milestones such as sitting, crawling and even talking. Our baby room at Lovabelle HQ is fully equipped with its own sensory area full of developmental equipment and sensory stations for babies to freely explore. The structured activities your baby will be introduced to include music & movement, messy play, action songs, massage / yoga, visual shows and much more fun! I am fully trained in Infant Massage & Baby Yoga, DBS checked, first aid trained and fully insured. 🐸 BABY FROG WEEK! 🐸

Tomorrow we’re hopping into Baby Frog as part of our September sensory term!

Babies will be exploring the frog ponds, meeting our frog puppets and enjoying lots of sensory discovery in our bespoke baby room.

Our classes are fully booked, but I do have a rare few PAYG spaces available for tomorrow morning at 9:45am. Suitable for babies from birth to crawling, with plenty for little ones to look at, listen to, touch and explore.

If you’d like to join us just for Baby Frog, message me to get your space booked in.

Celebrating 2 years of my lovely Nikki at Lovabelle Sunderland & Washington.

In just two years, Nikki has built such a gorgeous community through her classes in Sunderland and Seaham, and she’s now branching out into Washington too.

I couldn’t be prouder to see our Lovabelle in such good hands. Nikki first came to Lovabelle with both of her own babies, and to now see her running her own Lovabelle business and creating that same special experience for families across Sunderland is honestly so lovely.

She’s the most gorgeous class leader, an absolute credit to Lovabelle, and, most importantly, a friend for life.

Thank you, Nikki, for all of your hard work, dedication and for everything you bring to Lovabelle. Here’s to many more years! 💜

🎉 Now you are 1️⃣ Twinnies 🎉

Today I had the absolute honour of hosting the first birthday party of these gorgeous babies. And not just any old party, their actual birthday.

Anyone who knows me, knows I stress about absolutely everything being just perfect! I’m my own worst critic. But their mam described it as a ‘teddy bears picnic of dreams’ 🧸 and I could honestly cry 🥹

This time last year, these two beautiful babies were on intensive care (NICU) proving to be the little warriors they are today. And thanks toTiny Lives Trustt I have been introduced to them at our meet chat and learn classes. What a gorgeous community we have built up all celebrating together today. We are friends for life 💜

💛 LOVABELLE IS COMING TO WASHINGTON! 💛

We have some very exciting news… Lovabelle Baby Classes are coming to Washington! 👶🏼✨ And our lovely class leader Nikki from Lovabelle Sunderland & Washington can’t wait to welcome you all.

After 11 years in business, we’re so excited to be bringing our classes to a brand new area, following the success of our classes across Sunderland and South Tyneside.

In 2026, we were incredibly proud to be named Business of the Year 🏆 — something that means so much after 11 years of creating classes and memories for thousands of families.

We’ve supported thousands of babies and their families through those precious first stages of development, and now we’re ready to welcome our first Washington families. 💛

Our brand new 3-week term starts soon, featuring some of our much-loved themes including Baby Frog 🐸 and Baby Builders 👷🏼‍♀️, alongside our interactive sensory sessions where no two classes are ever the same.

🌙 MEET YOUR CLASS LEADER – GEM 🌙

Tomorrow we begin our brand-new term at Lovabelle Sensory, and I honestly can’t wait to welcome you all!

We have lots of gorgeous new babies joining us, as well as all of our lovely returning babies, and I’m so excited to see every single one of you.

A little introduction for those who don’t know me…

I’m Gem, and I’ve been running Lovabelle for almost 11 years. I’m a trained Baby Massage and Baby Yoga instructor, and I’ve worked in education for 18 years.

But most importantly… I’m a mam myself. I get it.

Lovabelle has always been about creating a warm, friendly community where you can come exactly as you are. There’s no pressure and no expectations.

Our classes are baby-led and relaxed. Feed your baby, change them, cuddle them, comfort them, let them have a little look around — whatever they need, whenever they need it.

You can simply sit back, soak up the lights, music and activities and enjoy that precious one-to-one time with your baby.

And if you ever need a listening ear, a bit of reassurance, advice or just someone who understands, I’m always here.

We’re all in this together.

A few little things for tomorrow:

⏰ Please arrive 5 minutes before your class so I can welcome you in and we can get started on time.

💜 We have a secure pram park in the lobby.

🧦 Please bring socks with you and leave shoes in the lobby.

Whether you’re joining us for the first time or you’re one of our returning Lovabelle families, welcome to our gorgeous community.

One thing I hear all the time is…

“I’d love to book, but we’ve got a holiday.”
“I’ve got an appointment that week.”
“I don’t want to lose out if we can’t make every class.”

Please don’t let that put you off booking.

I always do my very best to help. If you know you’re going to miss a class, get in touch and I’ll try to move you to another session within the same week. It works really well for lots of families and means you don’t have to miss out on the whole term because of one or two dates.

And if you are away, your space doesn’t just sit empty.

We have a lovely Pay It Forward scheme where your paid-for space is offered to another family who may be waiting for a place, can’t commit to a full term, or would simply love the chance to experience a Lovabelle session. It’s something my m**s really love, knowing their space can be enjoyed by another little one while they’re away.

Life happens. Holidays get booked, appointments come up and plans change. So don’t let the odd week stop you from securing your place.

September is almost here, and with only a handful of spaces remaining across the term, I’d hate for you to miss out 💛

Tomorrow the baby room will be glowing with twinkling lights, sensory magic and a few iconic rave anthems. It may be a baby rave, but expect a calm, magical atmosphere full of sparkle, smiles and unforgettable memories.
