From Trembling to Triumph:
The Glass Walk That Changed Everything
I witnessed something extraordinary at Party In The Park festival.
A lady stepped forward to walk the glass… something she had said she didn't feel she could do, and the moment she looked at it, her whole body began to tremble. Not a little shake, a full blown uncontrollable fear response mechanism, a lot began to surface in her system. Her breathing had changed and her legs felt wobbly. Her mind was telling her she couldn’t do it. She wasn’t being dramatic or pretending, her body was communicating the truth of every fear she had ever carried, those limiting beliefs that so easily holds you back, and to most, does.
She faced it and stayed present in that moment and didn't run away. She took a deep breath, she trusted the process of overcoming, and she took that first step of courage.
And something happened in that moment. The fear didn’t disappear, she held it and walked with it anyway.
Step by step, her trembling softened and eased, Her breath began to regulate and her eyes lifted. And when she reached the end, she wasn’t the same woman who started, she was elevated, she was buzzing and felt on high that came not from adrenaline, but from meeting herself.
She came back to me afterwards and said:
“I didn’t think I could do it… and now I LOVE it, it is truly an empowerment medicine that she hadn't seen before.”
That’s the thing about this work.
People think the glass is the challenge, but the real challenge is the moment you meet your own fears, those self limiting beliefs that holds you back and realising you are more potent and powerful than you give yourself credit for. Choosing not to shrink and run away.
The glass doesn’t hurt you, It shows you who you are.
And when she moved into arrow breaking afterwards, she did it with a completely different energy, not fear, but from remembering you are an unstoppable warrior with an inner lit fire that has sparked an inner light. Returning of lost, hidden, forgotten soul fragments to be fully integrated back into your system and reprograming memory cells of the body.
Hidden Truths in This Moment
Fear isn’t a stop sign, it is a doorway to an inner strength.
The body trembles when old stories surface.
Courage isn’t the absence of fear, it’s action in the presence of it.
Breakthroughs often happen in the exact moment you think you can’t go on, or when you are 3/4 near the light of dim tunnel.
When you walk through fear once, your whole nervous system remembers. And once you remember you become UNSTOPPABLE!!!
Empowerment isn’t taught, it’s experienced.
A Final Reflection
She didn’t just walk the glass. She walked out of an old version of herself.
And that’s why I am passionate about doing this work.
Not for the spectacle, Not for the “wow” moment. But for the quiet, powerful transformation that happens inside a person when they realise. “I can be uncomfortable, I can do tough things. I can face myself. I can rise.”
Stepping out of your comfort zone is where the magic happens, and in life it's an art to being comfortable in the uncomfortable.
I would like to thank George Davidson, the photographer for capturing and sharing their wonderful work. Much appreciated
