🤍 Female-only service I am a fully qualified Reflexologist & Aromatherapist in Botley, Southampton. I offer Foot, Facial & Maternity Reflexology treatments, Aromatherapy, Massage; as well a

s Indian Head Massage, and Reiki.

I am incredibly passionate about the use of Holistic Therapies to support our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being.

My absolute honour is to provide a safe space to let go, switch off and escape the everyday stresses that life can bring, allowing the body and mind to relax and find balance. I first became aware and interested in a more natural approach to health when I had my two children. I found myself seeking natural ways to support them through the usual childhood ailments. However, a real turning point for me was when I went through a particularly turbulent patch in my personal life. This led me on a journey of re-discovering who I am and what was true to me. During this time I discovered the benefits of holistic treatments such as Reflexology and Reiki. These therapies helped to keep my stress levels under control and my ability to face challenges much more manageable. With a background in Nursing I felt so intrigued with the power of Reflexology & how our feet correspond with certain parts of the body, that in 2019 I enrolled to train as a Reflexologist myself. I have over 12 years of experience working as a registered nurse within the NHS, my last post as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. This provided me with an incredible insight in to the conditions that people are living with day to day, and also the detriment that stressful, busy lives are having on us and potentially contributing to dis-ease within the body. Over time, I increasingly felt that there was so much more I could be offering to support the health of the patients I was caring for. In January 2022, I took a life changing step, followed my heart and decided that this is exactly how I wanted to be supporting others; healing through healthy and natural alternatives. This turned out to be one of my best decisions in life. Since then I have trained in other therapies including Aromatherapy. I have used essential oils for many years to support my family's physical & emotional well-being, but learning how to use them safely and effectively has been hugely mind blowing. The therapeutic & healing qualities of essential oils are incredible and I love that nature has provided us with this beautiful gift. I am insured and I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR), providing reassurance that I am highly trained and continue to maintain professional excellence by developing skills and knowledge. I absolutely love learning and am always looking for ways to advance my practice. I currently offer the following treatments in Botley, Southampton:

Foot Reflexology
Facial Reflexology
Maternity Reflexology
AromaFlex (Reflexology with essential oils)
Aromatherapy Massage
Massage
Indian Head Massage
Reiki

We often think we're resting because we've finally sat down.

The TV is on. 📺
We're scrolling through our phones. ☎️
We're answering a few messages. 📩
Maybe checking something quickly before putting the phone down... and picking it up again five minutes later.

Our body might be still, but our brain is still working overtime. 🤯

We’re not designed to be constantly switched on. Restorative rest gives us a break from that constant stimulation, allowing the nervous system to settle and giving us some much-needed mental space.

Sometimes, we need a little help to create that space for ourselves, and that’s something I can help you with. 🫶🏻

For that hour, there's nothing you need to do. No phone to check. No decisions to make. No one needing anything from you. 😌

It's your chance to simply receive. To close your eyes, feel the comforting touch of reflexology / massage, be cared for and nurtured, and allow yourself to enjoy the experience without needing to do anything at all.

Your mind doesn't have to be completely quiet. Thoughts may still come and go, but for that hour, there's nowhere else you need to be and nothing else you need to give your attention to.

Just time to be still, to receive and to let yourself be looked after for a while. 🥰💚

A little family pause in the Lanzarote sunshine ☀️🌊

There was something so lovely about having a week where everything just felt a little simpler. Nowhere we particularly needed to be, meals cooked for us and plenty of time to just enjoy being together. 🫶🏻

Days by the sea, playing cards, sitting around the table and enjoying lovely food together. 🥗

One of my favourite things was watching my children in the sea, particularly my son. He was completely mesmerised, looking for fish, exploring and taking in everything around him. 🤿🐠

Children seem to do this so naturally. They can become completely absorbed in what’s right in front of them without having to try to be present. They just are. 🍀

As adults, I think that can be a little harder. I know my own mind can so easily be onto the next thing, what needs doing, where I need to be next... and always what we’re having for dinner!

It was such a lovely reminder for me of how good it feels to strip things back. To have proper time with the people I care about, enjoy good food, appreciate nature and simply notice what’s right in front of me. 🌊☀️

Nothing particularly complicated or profound. Just the simple things that can sometimes get a little lost in the busyness of everyday life.

Feeling very lucky to have had that time together, and hoping to carry a little of that slower pace and presence home with me. 🥰🩷

There is something beautifully simple, and profoundly human, about this quote. 🫶🏽

"Touch comes before sight, before speech. It is the first language and the last, and it always tells the truth." – Margaret Atwood

And perhaps that's no coincidence. Touch is the very first sense to develop in the womb. It plays a fundamental role in our development, supporting connection, attachment, emotional wellbeing and our sense of safety from the very beginning of life.

It remains as fundamental to our wellbeing as it was at the very beginning. 💕

Our bodies are designed to receive and respond to caring touch. It supports our nervous system and influences hormones such as oxytocin, helping to foster feelings of connection, trust and safety.

Perhaps that's why I love reflexology so much. Amidst all of the science, foot maps and techniques, I am continually drawn back to its simplicity. Creating the space to simply pause and receive care through therapeutic touch feels like a gentle reminder of something deeply human that has mattered since the very beginning.

Touch is one of our most fundamental human needs. We never outgrow our need for connection, comfort and caring touch....and sometimes we simply need to be reminded of that. 🩷

This July marks three years since I took the leap and opened the doors to Soulful Holistic Therapies. 💚

What a journey it's been. My heart is so full of gratitude for everyone who has supported me, encouraged me and believed in me along the way.🥰

My reflexology journey actually began four and a half years ago in a local salon, before I took the leap! At the time, I had no idea where that decision would lead me.

Over the years, the women I've met, the training I've felt drawn towards, and the experiences I've shared have gently shaped the direction of my business. Today, supporting women's wellbeing feels exactly where I'm meant to be. 🌷

If you'd told me a few years earlier, while I was working as an NHS nurse, that one day I'd be running my own business, I'd have laughed in disbelief. Running my own business wasn't even on my radar. 🫣

As I reflect on the journey, I don't feel as though I really left nursing at all. I simply found a different way to do what always felt most meaningful to me: taking the time to truly connect with people, listening to their stories without feeling rushed, and offering support when they needed it most. 🫶🏽

None of this would have been possible without the incredible women who've trusted me along the way. Whether you've come to me for support, to celebrate happy news, to find a moment of calm, or simply to take some time for yourself, thank you for trusting me with your stories, your laughter, your hopes and your worries. That trust, and the relationships we've built, mean more to me than I could ever put into words. 🥰🫶🏽💕

To everyone who has recommended my business, bought a gift voucher, shared my posts, or quietly cheered me on from the sidelines, thank you so so much. 🥰

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of this journey.💫

Yesterday was just lovely. 🩷

We came together to celebrate Abi's birthday. 🎈

Life has a wonderful way of keeping us busy, which makes the moments that truly fill your cup all the more precious. 🫶🏽

Yesterday was one of those rare afternoons that did exactly that. 🙏

There was so much laughter, warmth and encouragement, and such a lovely sense of wanting the very best for one another and helping each other flourish. 🌸🫶🏽

It was such a beautiful reminder of just how powerful it is when women come together to support, celebrate and uplift one another. 💫

I honestly think we all need more of that.

And as if that wasn't enough, we were nourished with the most beautiful, wholesome food lovingly created by Abi Abi Shepherd. It felt like such a lovely reminder that wellbeing comes in so many different forms. 🍇

Days like yesterday remind me why I love supporting women. Creating spaces where women feel connected, encouraged and able to simply be themselves is at the heart of everything I do. 🌷

Thank you, Abi, for bringing us all together to celebrate with you 🎈🎂

My heart is very full. 🩷

One of the biggest lessons my own health journey has taught me is this...

Sometimes, when we become completely focused on what's wrong with us, or what needs fixing, we can unknowingly add even more pressure to ourselves and our nervous system.

I've been there myself... and if I'm honest, it's something I'm still working through.

I know what it's like to try all the things, to desperately want to feel better, and then to feel frustrated or disheartened when things don't improve in the way you'd hoped. Before you know it, you're carrying not only the symptoms themselves, but also the weight of disappointment, frustration and self-criticism.

Whether you're living with pain, anxiety, a chronic condition, hormonal changes, fertility challenges, menopause, or carrying more than feels manageable, it's so easy to find ourselves constantly searching for the next thing that might help.

And whilst there's absolutely a place for seeking answers and looking after our health, I've realised I'd forgotten something just as important...

🩷To be kind to myself.
🩷To offer myself compassion.
🩷To allow myself to rest.

So whatever brings you through my door, my hope is that, for one hour, you can put the searching down.

Leave the expectations at the door.

Not because you've given up on finding answers, but because, for this hour, you don't have to be searching for a solution.
Or seeking change.
Or hoping for a miracle recovery.

Perhaps it can simply be allowing yourself to experience something that feels good.
To pause.
To receive gentle, nurturing care.

Because when we're living with ongoing symptoms or feeling overwhelmed, our attention can become understandably drawn to everything that feels wrong.

Sometimes we just need a gentle reminder that we are still capable of experiencing moments that feel calm, comforting and nourishing for our system.

And maybe that's what this hour is really about.

Not fixing.

Just being.

So many women I speak to are carrying so much right now. 🥺

Holding everything together.
Thinking about everyone else.
Managing the mental load.
Running on empty.
...... yet still pushing through.

We’re often taught to keep going until we absolutely have to stop. To ignore the tiredness, the overwhelm, the poor sleep, the anxiety, the headaches, the hormonal changes… and just carry on.

But you don’t need to wait until burnout to look after yourself.

Sometimes what we need most isn’t to do more, it’s to slow down. 🫶

To pause long enough to hear what the body has been trying to say.

Rest is not something you have to earn. It is part of healing. Part of living! 💚

Reflexology offers a gentle space to reset, breathe, and let your nervous system soften. A chance for your body to catch up with you, and for you to receive support instead of always giving it.

Sometimes one quiet hour can be everything your nervous system has been asking for.

If life feels heavy lately, this is your reminder that your wellbeing matters too. 💕

A little reminder too - reflexology doesn’t always have to be on the feet. If you’re sensitive about your feet being touched, I also offer hand and facial reflexology. Both are equally as calming and supportive. 🫶💆‍♀️

It’s been a little quiet from me on here lately. I’ve just been soaking up the Easter holidays with family and friends 💚🥰

There have been long country walks with Bruno 🐶, dance festivals with my daughter, birthdays, and lots of special moments. The kind of full that fills your heart. 🫶🏼

Although I have been a little quieter on here, I’ve been busy as usual with my reflexology sessions, and I feel so grateful to be supporting so many of you on your wellbeing journeys 🤍.

Now we’re into April, I always notice the gentle shift this time of year brings. The lighter evenings, brighter mornings, a little more sunshine, and nature slowly coming back to life 🌿
There is something really special about spring 🐣 everything beginning to bloom again 🌹, gently and in its own time. Nothing forced, just a quiet, natural unfolding.

It’s a season of emerging, stepping out of winter and into something new, finding a little more lightness and energy again.

I was reminded of this so much over the weekend where I had the absolute honour of assisting my dear friend (), with the most beautiful retreat🥰, surrounded by incredible women ready to release and step into something new ✨..... I’ll share more on this soon. 🫶🏼

Feeling incredibly grateful for it all, and for each of you 🩷🩷🩷🩷.

Care With Intention 💚

The time you book is fully hands-on treatment time. I always allow extra space either side to check in and ease out. Nothing is taken from your session.

Before we begin, we take a few moments to talk through how you’ve been feeling, what’s shifted since your last visit, and what your body needs that day.

Afterwards, there’s time to rest, have some water, and come back to the world slowly.

Nothing is rushed.

I don’t work back-to-back, and I intentionally limit how many people I see each day. It means I can be fully present with you, reset the space properly, and look after my own energy so I can give you my best.

I really value every person who walks through my door, and everything they bring with them.

For me, it’s always been more than just the treatment. It’s the care, the connection, and the time we share. 🥰

Thank you so much Melissa for taking the time to leave this feedback 💚🙏🏼. I appreciate this so much.

To everyone who comes to see me, thank you for your trust. Not just in the treatment itself, but in the space we create together. I never take that lightly.

Every person walks through the door for their own reasons, and I’m grateful to be part of that in whatever way is needed. I truly love this work, and knowing it’s making a difference means more than I can say. 💚

To everyone who has shared their experience, left a Google review or recommend me, please know how deeply appreciated that is. Your support genuinely means the world to my small business ✨.

Thank you so much 🥰👣💆🏼‍♀️💚
