Some B+G flowers I forgot to post weeks ago. I done these for my Nan. She only got to see my work when things just started to come together on my tattoo journey. Despite her having no ink and questioning all the “big” tattoos I have she was always so supportive of my journey. So I’m sorry Nan I’ll be dropping this piece down to you soon so you will FINALLY have a tattoo whether you like it or not 😅💜

Latest tattoo I done on myself to commemorate my girl Elsie 🐶 🐾

They say every dog has a job. Some guard the gate, some hunt the fields Elsie’s job was simpler, she wanted to love everyone.

To look down was to see her, to turn a corner was to find her already there. She was like a shadow but not a darkness, just a constant, faithful companion of light that proved you were never walking alone.

Her Mission was to ensure no hand went un-licked. To Elsie personal space was a foreign concept. If there was a square inch of floor near a human she loved, she claimed it. She lived by the motto “if I fits I sits”

Elsie taught us that the greatest thing you can do with your time is just simply be there. Rest easy my girl, You gave enough love to last several lifetimes.

A piece I created for my wife to celebrate our 3rd year wedding anniversary(leather). It’s one of our wedding photos turned into line art with our wedding flowers and afew other bits that symbolise us. Perks to this is we got married on fireworks night so I’ll always “remember remember” and if I forget there will be fireworks so it’s a win win 🤣

Honestly though all jokes aside she is a absolute diamond. Alongside fully supporting me on this journey to become a tattoo artist, I couldn’t ask for a better soul mate.

Designed a non traditional Gobu based on the tale of Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi in the style of blackwork.

Legend says:
The sword was found by Susanoo when he slayed Orochi (8 headed dragon) it was in one of its tails. Susanoo gifted it to his sister Amaterasu to reverse his exile from the heavens.

Amaterasu gifted it to her nephew Yamato to protect him from grave peril. A warlord lured Yamato to a grassy plain and set fire to it trapping Yamato. That was when he discovered the sword could control the wind and swept the fire up and sent it back to the warlord and his men. This sword is part of the Japanese Royal Regalia to this very day!
