The countdown is over!
Tomorrow is the big day, and I cannot wait to welcome you to what promises to be a highly interactive, practical, and engaging day of advanced ECG interpretation with clinicians joining us from six different countries.
To help you get the most out of the course, here are a few important reminders:
🔹 Complete the Pre-Course Modules
EPEC is an advanced ECG course, so a solid foundation is essential. Please ensure you complete the online pre-course modules before joining the live session. Completion is required to receive your course certificate.
🔹 An Emergency Medicine Perspective
All cases are based on real Emergency Department presentations and are taught from a frontline Emergency Medicine perspective. Expect practical discussions, clinical reasoning, and real-world applicability throughout the day.
🔹 Download the Course Manual
A PDF version of the course manual is available within your TrainerCentral account. Please download it in advance, as it will be an important companion throughout the course.
🔹 Accessing the Live Event
The course will be delivered via Zoom. The joining link can be found in the "Live Event Module" within TrainerCentral and will be activated tomorrow morning.
🔹 Technology Requirements
Please join using a laptop or desktop computer.
You will also need a mobile phone for interactive activities throughout the day.
A reliable internet connection is strongly recommended.
🔹 Timings
Registration opens at 07:45 AM (UK time).
The course will finish at approximately 5:15 PM (UK time).
🔹 Engagement Matters
One of the things that makes EPEC unique is the level of interaction and discussion. To help create the best possible learning environment, I would be grateful if you could keep your camera on whenever possible.
🔹 Get Some Rest
Please make sure you have a good night's sleep. It will be a full day of learning, discussion, debate, and clinical reasoning, but I promise it will be worth every minute.
Thank you again for joining us. I am genuinely looking forward to spending the day with you, sharing ideas, challenging assumptions, and exploring some fascinating ECGs together.
Safe travels through the pre-course material, and I will see you all tomorrow morning.
