Getting ready for Autumn craft fairs. 😍 I will have these lovely soaps in Lavender or peppermint. Packaged in drawstring bags super for the gifting season They stay super hard right up until the last crumb. They do take a long time to cure but it's worth the wait.
Come and get yours at Redcliffe Garden Centre, Bashley on Saturday 24 October. I will also be at CODA, Highcliffe for 3 days in November. (Date to be arranged). Hope to see you there. 😁

Quite a job to remove the petals. These are for my oil infusion and to colour my soap. So beautiful and deep coloured so it's much better to grow your own.

Every day I have a new crop of these calendula flowers to pick and dry. 😍 the bees and butterflies love them too.
Later in the year when fully dry I'll use the petals for balms and soap. Calendula helps with skin healing and is one of the few petals that colour soap with little fade during the curing period. I often add my petals directly into the lye water.

A rich creme with some lovely skin actives. Panthenol and hyaluronic acid. Avocado oil, shea and mango 8% glycerine. Geranium and Lavender EOs. Preservative needed of course. I needed to lower the PH so I used some lactic acid to bring it down to 4.5-5.5.
A lovely dispenser picked up in home bargains!

I've used some expensive active ingredients in this all over skin cream trial so hoping to reduce my wrinkles!! 🤩 sorry I can't sell it as a cosmetic report and preservative efficacy testing would be costly.
