Supporting Young People Through Exam Season with Reflexology & Indian Head Massage

Exam season can be a stressful and overwhelming time for young people. Pressure to perform well, long hours of studying, disrupted sleep, anxiety, headaches and tension can all take a toll on both emotional wellbeing and physical health.

Reflexology and Indian Head Massage offers a calm and nurturing space for young people to relax, reset and recharge during this demanding period.

How Reflexology May Help
Reflexology is a gentle, non-invasive treatment focusing on pressure points on the feet that correspond with different areas of the body. Many clients find reflexology deeply relaxing and supportive for:

Reducing stress and anxiety

Improving relaxation and sleep quality

Encouraging emotional balance

Helping ease tension and overwhelm

Supporting overall wellbeing during busy periods

Benefits of Indian Head Massage
Indian Head Massage focuses on the head, neck, shoulders and upper back — areas where stress and tension are commonly held. This soothing treatment may help with:

Relieving tension headaches

Reducing neck and shoulder tightness

Promoting calmness and mental clarity

Supporting concentration and relaxation

Encouraging better sleep and reduced stress levels

Creating time for rest and self-care can make a real difference to a young person’s wellbeing and confidence during exams.

Parents or guardians are very welcome to accompany young people during their treatment to help them feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit.

If you would like to find out more or book an appointment, please feel free to get in touch.

Sorry it’s been so quiet 🤫

Unfortunately I had to take some time out due to a herniated disc but my diary for May is now open and filling up 🙂

I’ve missed seeing clients old and new, so let’s spring into this season with a reset and rebalance!

Please send me a message for booking details 🙂

I am available for home visits, treatment room at Spa in Awbridge or clinic in Andover.

I am also available for corporate wellbeing days too 🙂

Water as the Body’s Primary Transport Medium

Approximately 60% of the adult human body is composed of water. It acts as the primary transport medium for nutrients, oxygen, hormones and metabolic waste. The circulatory and lymphatic systems rely heavily on sufficient fluid levels to function efficiently.

Reflexology aims to support the body’s natural regulatory mechanisms, often promoting relaxation, improved circulation and lymphatic movement. When these systems are worked during a reflexology session metabolic by-products can be mobilised more effectively. Adequate water intake supports the kidneys, liver and lymphatic system in processing and eliminating waste products through urine, perspiration and bowel function.

All my clients will know how much I stress the importance of drinking water is especially after a treatment.

Water plays a fundamental role in nearly every system of the body and following reflexology, where the body may shift into a state of increased regulation and balance, adequate hydration becomes especially important.

If you’re feeling shifts in your body and don’t recognise yourself anymore, please hear this:

• You’re not imagining it.
• You’re not weak.
• You’re not “just stressed.”
• Your symptoms matter — even if they look different from everyone else’s.

Reflexology could help you!

Please contact me for more details.

✨ 2026 has begun — I hope it’s been kind to you so far ✨

While this time of year often comes with pressure to be positive, set goals, and dive into a brand-new path, it’s worth remembering that it’s still winter. And it’s completely okay if you’re not feeling ready yet.

You can reflect on what you’d like for 2025 and begin when you are ready — gently, in your own time.

One supportive way to do this is by investing in yourself: rebalancing, healing, and grounding. Allowing your mind and body the space to centre, rest, and re-energise can make all the difference.

🌿 Reflexology and Indian Head Massage offer a safe, calming space to do just that. Simply relax, and let the treatment do the work.

If you’d like to know more or feel called to some gentle support, feel free to reach out 🤍
