SHE LET HERSELF GO

She let herself go, they say.

How wrong they are, how little they know.
She simply stopped fighting time,
stopped fighting nature
and ceased being a slave,
to the unreachable dictations of society,
just briefly.
She focused instead on the real things,
pressing for her attention.
She let herself in.
She let herself rest.
She let herself be.
She let herself out.
At no point did she let herself go, my friend.
Quite the opposite.
If only they could see it.

If only they could do it too.

We do not become healers.
We came as healers. We are.
Some of us are still catching up to what we are.

We do not become storytellers.
We came as carriers of the stories that we and our ancestors actually lived. We are.
Some of us are still catching up to what we are.

We do not become artists. We came as artists. We are.
Some of us are still catching up to what we are.

We do not become writers.. dancers.. musicians.. helpers.. peacemakers. We came as such. We are.
Some of us are still catching up to what we are.

We do not learn to love in this sense. We came as Love.
We are Love.

Some of us are still catching up
to who we truly are.

Our thoughts and imaginings are so powerful. It is good to focus on writing our own outcomes to our own stories, and I for one love filling my story, and the story of the earth, with joy, peace, fun, life and love.
There are some great documentaries listed here, I'm looking forward to watching them.

We have all been programmed subconsciously from birth by our environment, by who we grew up with, by society, and the messages and stories we were given both implicitly and explicitly about who we are and how to behave. These subconscious beliefs and thoughts impact our daily lives, from our career choices to our relationships. Recognising these subconscious programmes and learning to re-write and re-work those that are no longer serving us can be incredibly transformative.
