Held, in every sense of the word.
This morning our little circle The Village Hub was wonderfully full, with eight beautiful newborn mamas, eight tiny babies, and a room glowing with candles, fairylights, and the kind of peace and calm that only happens when women finally feel safe enough to exhale.

This is what the Nurtured Newborn Circle is for. Not another to-do on the postpartum checklist, but a space to just be. To land in your body again after nine months of growing a human and a fourth trimester of holding everyone else together.

We slowed everything down. Nervous systems settling, breath by breath. Hands learning the gentle strokes of baby massage, a language of touch that our babies understand long before words. Soft movement to release what our bodies have carried, and to remind us that we're still in here, underneath the newborn haze.

But the real magic was in the circle itself. Being seen. Being heard. Being held by the space, and by each other. Eight women becoming eight mamas who know they're not alone in this.
Out of our heads, into our hands, and holding our babies tight. From cradle to community. This is why we do what we do.

Collaboration over competition.
Community over comparison.
Connection over everything!

This one's for the women who choose to build with each other instead of against each other. We're not in the same lane, but we're in the same realm. Holistic wellbeing, nervous systems, regulation, breath, community....yes, theyre different offerings, but we have the same belief: that people heal and grow better together than alone.

There's a version of this world that thrives on comparison. Who's got the bigger space, the big following, the fuller classes, the shinier feed. And then there's this: two people who'd rather share the table than guard it.

That's what this collaboration is with Frankie | Flow & Glow ✺ Yoga + Colon Hydrotherapy Not competitors circling the same audience, but collaborators expanding what's possible for the people we both show up for. Because we both know that community IS medicine, and that only works if the people holding space for it actually practice what they preach. So here's to more of this. More cross-pollination, more "come and try mine, I'll come and try yours," more lifting each other into rooms we wouldn't reach alone. More "what magic can we create TOGETHER!?!'

Have you got a newborn scrunch?

You what i mean! That beautiful, curled up, squishy and scrunched up little new human, knees to chest, fists by cheeks, spine still remembering the shape of the womb. It's called physiological flexion, and it's your baby's whole world for those first weeks earthside.

Part of my job (and to be perfectly honest, one of my FAVOURITE parts of this work) is gently helping them release that tension, softening what the womb imposed, so those tiny arms and legs can slowly unfurl into this big, bright world they're now held in. Out of the curl, and into your arms.

This is where my passion for nervous system regulation always begins.... right here, in the cradle, with the littlest nervous systems on the planet. Because before we can build regulated communities, we start by supporting these tiny humans (and the mamas holding them) from day one.

In the Nurtured Newborn Circle, we go slow. We learn in-depth massage and movement techniques to release tension in baby's body, and just as importantly, we learn to release tension in ours too. Empowering new mamas, regulating together, hand in hand.

As the leaves turn golden and the light through the trees goes soft and amber, we're stepping off the summer path and into the first of our autumb stories... one full of rumbly tumblys, small paws, big hearts, and the gentle magic of friendship.

Next Tuesday 1st September, our little adventurers are invited into an immersive world of storytelling, weaving infant massage, soft movement, music, song and sensory-rich play as we wander the Hundred Acre Wood together. Out of our heads, into our hands, and stepping through the wood. There's a spot on the path for every kind of explorer:

This work saved me babes. Literally!
Using this methodology, music, movement, rhythm, regulation, ritual, healed parts of myself I didn't know needed healing. It helped me rewire old habits, break toxic patterns, and find my way back to joy. It gave my business new direction when I needed it most.

It was the missing puzzle piece I didn't know I was looking for. It got me through grief. It got me through some really dark times. And it continues to give, which is why this side of my work means so much to me. It didn't just change how I show up for others. It transformed my life.
So when I say I know these things to be true, babes — I mean it.

Nearly six years in this field, and every bit of it is lived experience. From holding space, running sessions and workshops, I've watched music and movement work its magic, again and again.
And here's the best bit: the magic doesn't stop when the class ends. The spoonful of music helps the medicine keep landing, beyond the event, beyond the session, beyond the room. It keeps working on you long after you've left.

Our Flow & Glow collaboration with Flow With Frankie ~ Colon Hydrotherapy | Yoga | Reiki | ☾𖤓 sold out in under 24 hours. Which is exciting, yes, but it's also telling us something bigger. People are craving this. Craving community. Craving the chance to dance with freedom, to shake it out, to have a genuinely good time without worrying about what they look like, without the hangover, without the comedown. They just want to move their body in a way that brings them back home to themselves.

This autumn and winter, we're bringing you new ways to keep that medicine working through the darker months. And next year? Watch this space because there's SO much coming.

Follow me, follow me....down the Yellow Brick Road!

There's no place like Munchkinland, and next week we're off spinning through a whirlwind to see the Wizard of Oz. We'll be skipping down the Yellow Brick Road towards the Emerald City, with all our munchkins in tow!

Where the magic's happening next Tuesday:

☆Lullaby Baby Massage ~ FULLY BOOKED! Our littlest munchkins have claimed every spot on the road.

☆ Sensory Seekers ~ just 2 spaces left! Grab your sitting or crawling Munchkins and your ruby slippers before they're gone.

☆ Curiosity Patch Wildlings (afternoon session) ~ plenty of room on the road for our bigger Wildlings! Our munchkins will travel the Yellow Brick Road into Munchkinland, exploring sensory-rich play in their own time and at their own pace, before gathering in circle to sing, move and play together. Think bubbles, twinkling lights, swishing scarves and parachute magic.

We'll be celebrating the last of our summer holiday sessions around the curiosity patch in true Oz style, because there's no place like home, and in this case, we mean The Village Hub

From sitting up to stepping in, rhe next chapter starts here!

This is what a Tuesday at The Village Hub looks like every week. Gorgeous babies and toddlers stepping into the story, not just watching it happen. Iridescent bubbles, curiosity patch wonder, parachutes flying, sensory-rich play, and a whole mini world we build together, one story at a time.

Sensory Seekers (sitting–crawling babies) and Curiosity Patch Wildlings (walking, talking toddlers up to preschool) carry on everything we love about Lullaby Baby Massage. Infant classes Chloe Westmore ~ Classes With CoCo are all about regulation through love, touch and play, movement, music and song. Every stage, we continue his pattern as the little ones reach new milestones and explore. Growing into the story together, and now your little explorer gets to lead the way.
No sitting still. No behaving a certain way. Just confidence built at their own pace, knowing they can always come back to your arms to emotionally refuel. This is how we build stress resilience, confidence and connection with our younglings.
