✨ Fitness during menopause isn’t about “bouncing back”—it’s about moving forward with strength, confidence, and support. 💪💕

Menopause can bring real challenges such as fatigue, anxiety, and joint pain, but movement can be a powerful tool for wellbeing. As a trained professional, I can help bridge the gap to better health. 🤝

As a certified Menopause Movement coach, I’m uniquely positioned to support women through this stage of life with understanding, knowledge, and compassion.

Here’s how I help women thrive through fitness:

🧠 Supporting them to understand their unique journey
💬 Creating safe, judgment-free environments
🏋️‍♀️ Prioritising how they feel rather than how they look
🌿 Adapting training with flexibility, empathy, and care
🤝 Building supportive and uplifting communities
📚 Sharing evidence-based knowledge that empowers

📊 Did you know?

🔹 Nearly 1 in 3 women stop exercising during menopause

🔹 60% of women aged 45–54 don’t meet strength-training guidelines

🔹 Campaigns like This Girl Can have helped 81% of women aged 41–60 feel more confident about becoming active

This is about more than fitness—it’s about empowerment, connection, and resilience.

💡 Let’s challenge the stigma and change the conversation. Menopause isn’t an ending; it’s the start of a powerful new chapter. 🌸

As a Menopause Movement coach, I lead with compassion, not pressure—focusing on progress over perfection and using fitness as a tool to empower, not intimidate, women in midlife and beyond.

Because movement is medicine. Community is healing. And together, we can make a difference.

This really made me smile, I just received this absolutely lovely review from a young girl who had counselling with me last year. 😊❤️

With Donna's help I was able to remove myself from a bad mental state, this state caused me to feel depressed and to constantly overthink and panic and worry about anything which was out of my character. It's been almost a year since my last session with Donna and I have found methods to calm myself down, to focus on myself, and to have proper communication with the people around me. With Donna's help and with the sessions I had I learned to identify my emotions and validate them accordingly and in doing so I found confidence to things I have always wanted to do. It has been almost a year since our last session and I feel just as refreshed and happy since then. It has made a lasting impact on my life and relationships and I now feel closer to those I love and more present in my own happiness.

During our sessions we would talk about my struggles and what I was feeling, as well as identifying reasons for what I do and how healthy it is, but I would also be allowed to rant and talk about all my interests and sometimes talk about my day if I wanted to. These conversations meant a lot to me because it would let me get out anything I couldn't say myself and now I can say everything myself as I was given the opportunity to before.

Today was a me time, other than trying to get housework done, I then felt the need to listen to music & draw. We have to sometimes give ourselves time, I've been very busy lately, and today I needed to give myself some self-care.

Thinking of this, I decided to draw something related, what are your thoughts?

The good thing about this drawing is that I am positive it will represent something different to you all. 😀

It truly is so lovely when I receive testimonies like this 😊😁🥰

Did you know that spending time outdoors in green spaces can benefit both your mental and physical health?

🍃 Spending as little as 20 minutes in the park can boost wellbeing.
🍃 Exercise can increase serotonin levels which can boost your mood and self-esteem.
🍃 It can improve your physical health and fitness.

Do you Struggle with your mental health? do you need to speak to someone?
If you do, please contact someone & talk or you can contact me 😊

As a therapist, I understand how hard it can get for people over Christmas, remember that there is always someone you can talk to at anytime of the day or night.

Here are a few tips:
Remember to look after yourself, self care is paramount.

Join a local community.

Try to avoid social comparisons.

Have boundaries put in place.

Avoid too much alcohol or food, this can have a negative impact. Alcohol is also a depressant.

If it gets too much, take a break from it, go to another room, listen to some music, or go for a walk.

Please do not put pressure on yourself.

Talk to a family member or friend, if not, call one of the numbers below or you can contact me.
