Exciting news for our community!

We are delighted to announce new ownership of your local pharmacy. As of now the name Southminster Pharmacy will remain, however from the 1st March, we will officially be known as Reliance Pharmacy.

While our name is changing, our commitment to your health and wellbeing remains stronger than ever.

Our dedicated team, will be on hand to provide expert advice, friendly service and ongoing support for all your healthcare needs.

As part of the change we will be introducing various NHS services:

1. NHS Pharmacy First consultations
2. NHS Free Blood Pressure Checks
3. New Medicines Service (NMS)
4. Seasonal services, such as flu vaccination’s

The pharmacy has been sold to another company. So after 28 years I'm retiring and taking a rest.
I've enjoyed it all, so thank you to customers, patients and of course the staff.
Pharmacy has changed so much since I qualified in 1979 and you will see many more changes under the new ownership. They will be providing many more services in the future.
I hope you continue to use the pharmacy and benefit from the developments.
I wish you all a happy Christmas and prosperous New Year.

We require two new members of staff to work on the pharmacy counter, Saturdays from 9 until 1. The minimum age is 16. There will also be the opportunity for extra hours to cover holidays and busy periods.
Training will be provided. Please call into the pharmacy for an application form.

If you are able to leave collecting your prescription for a few days we would really appreciate it.
