Going away and your cycle's got other ideas. Hot weather, disrupted sleep, different food, stress of travelling ,it all throws your hormones off. Periods can come early, late, heavier, or not at all. That's not you being dramatic. That's just biology doing what biology does when your routine changes.
Pack accordingly. Know your body. Don't let it catch you out.

A normal fella who's had enough of watching women get fobbed off. The data is there. The science is there. So why are doctors still sending women home with nothing? HRT saves lives and it's time people started saying it louder.

Reel 6: The "Walk Away" Reality Check
Hook: “Most divorces in your 40s and 50s aren't because she fell out of love. It’s because you failed the test.”
Call to Action: Brutally honest debate in the comments.
[30-Second Timer Start]
Let's be completely honest for a second, even if it hurts your feelings.
The highest divorce rate happens right when women hit perimenopause. Do you think that’s a coincidence? It’s not.
When her body and mind started changing, you probably called her crazy, shut down, or went looking for attention somewhere else because the bedroom got quiet. You left her to drown in a stage she didn't even recognise herslef
She didn't leave you because of a "midlife crisis." She left you because when things got heavy, you proved you were a boy, not a man.
Perimenopause will expose exactly how weak your relationship really is.

Am I hitting too close to home here, or do guys need to hear this harsh truth? Ladies, did your partner step up or step out? Let’s fight it out in the comments.

Welcome to Part 2!
I am still 100% learning as I go here, but the fact that a trans guy in his 20s can get the exact same menopausal hot flashes as someone decades older completely threw me for a loop.

It’s crazy how the brain's internal thermostat reacts whenever estrogen takes a sudden dip, no matter who you are.
But look, I really need your help and your input on this topic.

If you’ve been through the hormone starting phase or the aging phase, what was the hot flash situation actually like for you? How did you handle it? Please share your real-life experiences in the comments below so anyone scrolling through can read this, find some real answers, and feel less alone. Drop a follow and comment or repost

Sorry alot of erms but we're Getting ready for a family holiday should be exciting. And it is. But if one person in your house is carrying the whole mental load of it — the lists, the packing, the everything — whilst also dealing with hormones that are all over the place, then "it'll be fine" isn't good enough. Just help. That's it.

Welcome to Part 1!
I’m diving right into the deep end with hormone science, and honestly, the way the body handles dropping estrogen depending on whether you are a trans man or a trans woman is wild.

I’m completely open about the fact that I am no doctor and I’m learning this piece by piece. That’s why I need the community's help.

If you are a trans man or a trans woman navigating these hormone changes, what has your experience been with your fitness, muscle, or energy levels? Please share your thoughts and input below so anyone scrolling through can read your real stories and learn from them. Let’s keep building this supportive space! Don't forget to hit that follow button for Part 2!

To wrap up our week on perimenopause, here is your straight-to-the-point job description.
First, go Google the symptoms. Don't make her explain it while she's suffering.
Second, watch for patterns. If she’s always exhausted on Thursdays, step up and handle dinner before she even asks.

Lastly, remind her you’re not going anywhere. She feels like she’s losing her mind and her youth. Tell her you’re a team and you'll figure it out. Step up, guys.

I’m building a community and also want some men who actually give a s**t about supporting their partners through this. Hit follow if you’re in, and tell me in the comments: what’s your biggest question about this phase?

I’m going to be completely real with you guys—I’m putting myself out there to learn about hormone science and trans aging, and the amount of hate and pushback out there has honestly shocked me.
I’m not thick, but I guess I just didn’t realize how pig-headed people can be. At the end of the day, we all have feelings and we are ALL human beings just trying to navigate this life. ❤️
I’m starting a new series today breaking down what I’m learning about trans men, trans women, and menopause. I don’t know it all, and I really need your help and your input in the comments so we can make this a safe space for people to read, learn, and understand each other better.

Let’s set the tone right now. Drop a comment below if you’re on this journey with me, and hit that follow button so you don’t miss Part 1 dropping next.

I’m going to be 100% honest with you—I am no medical expert, but I’ve been diving down a rabbit hole looking into hormone science and it is absolutely fascinating.
We always hear about what menopause looks like for cisgender women, but have you ever stopped to think about what happens to transgender men when they hit that age? Or how starting testosterone mimics parts of menopause, but with a massive plot twist?
In this series, I’m breaking down the wild differences (and surprising similarities) between how cis women and trans men experience menopause.

Spoiler alert: While dropping estrogen can cause cis women to lose muscle mass, trans men have a secret weapon testosterone that completely overrides that loss.

I’m learning all of this in real-time, so bear with me as I figure it out!

Are you a trans man who has navigated this, or a woman going through the menopause shift right now? Drop a comment below and let me know what the doctors forgot to warn you about!
