This was such a beautiful moment in our morning mantra and toning class. I had secretly shared with our other retreat participants that we would flow into Happy Birthday, but no rehearsals, just heart felt wishes 💕♥️💕

It’s pretty fair to say I’ve been struggling, trying to find my way back to adulting, whilst processing to how the last year has shaped me.

I’m so deeply grateful for my work, but at times it’s also made me feel frustrated and often triggered in the mindset that i should be doing better, i should be communicating better, handling my grief better …..

And even as i write this, i judge myself for ‘ shoulding’ as i should know better then to use this term, should!

Ultimately, there is no wrong or right way to grief, it’s not something we overcome or move past consciously ticking off the stages

I’m currently in Palm Desert, California with my amazing friends, who happen to be my bosses - the change of scenery and routine has been such a tonic for my heart.

As i explored the Joshua Tree National park yesterday, i was really taken back by the beauty and brutally of this baron yet bountiful land.

Serene and harsh, like love and grief coexisting, the joy and pain simultaneously being present

And this felt true for me too ❤️‍🩹
