💚 Not every child is meant to fit into the same box... and they shouldn't have to. 🐴

Some children walk into a classroom carrying worries bigger than their school bag. Some have lost confidence. Some struggle to communicate. Some feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or simply unable to thrive in a mainstream school environment.

But then... they meet a horse.

A horse doesn't judge exam results, labels, or past experiences. It doesn't see a child who has "failed" in education. It sees a person worthy of trust, patience, and kindness.

And that's where the magic begins.

At our Changing Lives Through Horses Alternative Provision, we use the unique partnership between horses and young people to help children rediscover who they are and what they're capable of.

Every session is an opportunity to build the skills that will stay with them for life:

🗣️ Communication – finding their voice.
💪 Confidence – believing in themselves again.
🤝 Relationship Building – learning trust, respect, and empathy.
👥 Teamwork – working together to achieve success.
🐎 Responsibility – caring for another living being with pride.
🌟 Perseverance – discovering that it's okay to fall, as long as you get back up.

We welcome children who are:
💚 Struggling in mainstream education
💚 Home educated
💚 Living with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Every child deserves a place where they feel accepted, valued, and capable of succeeding.

Sometimes all it takes is one horse, one safe space, and one person who believes in them.

Because when a child starts believing in themselves, everything can change.

Our Accessible Riding sessions are about so much more than learning to ride a pony. During each session, we encourage confidence, communication, and the expression of feelings in a safe and supportive environment.

This week, Arthur and Eva had fantastic sessions focused on developing these important life skills while having lots of fun along the way. They also enjoyed some special bonding time with their ponies, finishing their sessions with plenty of cuddles and affection.

We are so proud of the progress they continue to make, both in and out of the saddle! 🐴❤️
