Life is feeling very heavy at the moment.
When things start getting you down and it feels like you're losing control or going under. Remember, it's just temporary. Feel those feelings, sit with them to understand what they need, but don't get lost in them. We all have a huge amount of strength within us to keep going. Tomorrow marks the beginning of the Chinese new year and the year of the fire horse. We say good bye to the wood snake who has helped us shed and leave behind old patterns, unhelpful habits and negative influences, which helped us transform through hard realities and painful reliving. It was also a 9 year, which is all about endings and completing cycles.
Now, we step into a 1 year. A new beginning, a new cycle, a rebirth, a fresh start! We step into the energy of the fire horse where we can choose initiation, a rising up, a powerful forward motion pushing us to where we were meant to be, creativity, passion, courage and momentum. This is the year for change, to transform, to align with your true purpose.
This week we also have our first lunar eclipse and new moon calling us into action.
Wow!

Did you know that Friday 13th is actually a powerful and scared day for the divine feminine?
The number 13, although linked widely with bad luck is actually a sacred and meaningful number. In nature 13 links to the number of lunar cycles we have in a year, the number of menstral cycles we experience. It is the number witches aim to have in their coven. It repeatedly shows up in scared geometry in the Fibonacci sequence and the fruit of life. In tarot, 13 is linked with transformation and rebirth.
Friday is named after the Norse goddess Freya and is associated with love, beauty, heart, friendship and sexuality. Friday is ruled by Venus who is also associated with recieving love, softness and gentility. Fridays were deemed to be the day for emotional well-being, self love, self care and worshipping the devine feminine.
For these reasons, Friday 13th is a powerful and lucky day for witches and it great time for manifesting, spell work and honouring natural cycles.

I can really relate to this. It's not time that runs short for me, it's the amount of energy I have to do things. Being highly sensitive means I fatigue really quickly and need a lot of rest and recharge time.
When I manage my diary, I do it based on how much energy i'll expend on a certain activities rather than how much time it takes up.
Can anyone else relate to this?

Imbolc sister circle - what a magical, powerful evening full of love and connection 💖
It's hard to put into words how much this circle meant to me! At a time where the energy is heavy and hard, we came together and created an evening full of so much love, connection and strength. It made my heart really happy.
Mama Cacao definitely entered our hearts and showed us that within the right connection with ourselves and others, we are stronger.
I am so grateful every time I hold circle that I get to do this! That people come to share time and energy with me. What a magical, open-hearted, wonderful group of women. To those who couldn't be with us, we missed you and sent love your way.
Already looking forward to next circle for spring equinox.

I had an idea!
The goddess collection!
A series of 6 workshops, each focussing on an individual goddess from different mythologies.
In each workshop we will meet the goddess, learn about their story and associations, follow a guided visualisation to meet her and finish with a ceremony to honour and connect.
I'm super excited about this.
