We’re delighted that Ollie Smith, our Head of IT, has been named a finalist for the Care Innovator Award in the East of England at Great British Care Awards 2026! 🏆

From starting his career as a care apprentice 13 years ago to leading innovation across The Marbrook Centre, Ollie continues to use technology and AI to support safer, more person-centred care.

We had a fantastic time enjoying our tropical-themed experience, complete with fun quizzes, colourful leis, tropical accessories and plenty of smiles along the way! 😎

Today, our residents chose to enjoy a wonderful variety of activities, with something for everyone:

💅 Some enjoyed a relaxing nail-painting and pampering session
🧘‍♀️ Others took part in a sensory meditation activity, helping to support mindfulness and mental wellbeing
And some simply enjoyed choosing a tasty snack from the trolley while settling down with something to read or listen to 🎧📚
